Bbc interview, young players, inexperienced,we need help, it's up to club if we want to forwards and be competitive, we need players..

Sound familiar

It's never him is it?
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

When you waste so much money in January to try and guarantee promotion, and you only have a ground that holds 10,000 you're going to struggle. If they hadnt had that ridiculous unbeaten run at the start of last season they wouldnt have gone up. They were very average from the new year onwards.

Parker is also isnt an inspirational manager. He gave up on the season before it started with us, and seems to have done the same at Bournemouth. Nothing is every his fault. Parkerball>all. He wont last until the WC break

I think that you can add to that when he said something like "blooding Academy players" against the likes of Liverpool whilst a great experience for them isn't what is needed or required. Seemingly conveniently forgetting that not one but two of the Liverpool players (aka Elliot & Fabio) were Fulham academy players only a few years ago. He failed to nurture them & look after them & failed to bring them in to the first team early enough

I used to like Parker but now think he is an utter delusionist & plonker of the first order! "More of them moments" baby!! Boscombe are welcome to him!!

perry geyton

He's blaming the owners now rather then taking on the responsibility himself

Classic Parker

I think when he fails at Bournemouth, which I feel sure he will, his options will narrow considerably. He'll end up as an under 21 coach somewhere, probably back at Spurs...

Hatch007

Full 90 mins rerun just started on Sky Sports.

Beats going to the cinema 😂

Some relegated club will take a chance

Whether you like Parker or not and I don't, you have to feel Bournemouth's pain. It's going to be a long hard winter for everyone associated with them

Very good point, I don't like seeing turkey shoots like yesterday, especially between two clubs with such polar opposite budgets.

Correct SP.

Bournemouth's Youtube channel Back of the Net, ends with quite a savage criticism by the presenter yesterday on Scott Parker.  My thoughts did go back though to our defeat at Anfield in league cup back in the day 1986, won't mention the score.

Logicalman

Cherries board is humming over the SP interview and comments as well:

https://bournemouth-forum.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/recruitment-war-parker-vs-demin.16356/

.. and the Echos article post match:

https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/20800108.parkers-message-afc-bournemouth-fans-9-0-embarrassment-liverpool/?ref=twtrec

From reading the latter, and I know spoken words seem to lose something wehn printed out verbatim, but his explanations are all over the place, and generally irrelevant to my liking.
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

It is hugely entertaining to see Parker do the same routine as he did here. Constantly downplaying your chances, telling everyone that the players you have aren't good enough and blaming everyone but himself. Doubt that everyone will be as eager to buy his gaslighting the second time around. He had even convinced some on here that Fulham were bound to fall into League 1 and that Mitro couldn't even cut it in the championship. He had most of the media eating out of his hand convinced that he did the best of a bad situation, and he is just playing it on repeat.

Compare this to Silva who has been, rightly, complaining at the lack of depth but also constantly backed the players we have to perform.

Tabby

Highly hyped Newcastle currently losing away to Wolves. I think our point over there will look better and better in retrospect.

2-0 to Wolves and West Ham finally ended their nonscoring streak against Villa.

Think Villa will be in the relegation spots if Gerrard doesn't go. Properly terrible so far this season.

Villa are in a bad place. Looked clueless today. Struggling this season with the exception of a lucky win over Everton. They've Man City and Arsenal up next. Crowd turned towards the end of the game.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Somerset Fulham

West Ham were just as abject, it was a strange and dull game.
