Hope the club are working on a new contract for him.

I wonder how close Rodrigo is to a call up to the national squad?

There's not many out and out CFs in Brazil NT at the moment. Igor Jesus was only one in the last squad. There's also Endrick and Vitor Roque. I wouldn't be surprised if Muniz did get a call up sometime...

Seen some Brazilians call for him to be called up as he can act as a CF and finish chances. They have heaps of wingers and attacking midfielders but very few out and out strikers.

There hasn't really been any truly "great" Brazilian strikers since Ronaldo which is a bit odd.

LC

He has heaps of ability, he has all the attributes, the only thing he needs to work on is his emotions. When he is happy and confident he can be deadly, but when his confidence is low it really impacts his game. I think he'll kick on, no reason why he can't develop into a 20 goals a season striker

Brazil could definitely use someone like him. Not sure he is necessarily good enough on ability but they so desperately need someone of his profile that he should be getting a call up. Someone who can hold the ball up, be a big physical nuisance and occupy the CBs would greatly help their wingers and AMs have more freedom to do what they do.

His passing after holding the ball up has gotten 10x better this season and specifically in the last few months. He is definitely evolving as a striker and getting closer to being a complete package. The one thing he can't do and probably won't ever be good at is carrying the ball.

Kind of related, can anyone share the words of the Muniz song?

Agree with this. It is a particular problem around strikers. Raul's situation was exceptional but couldn't score for 2 years. Mitro suffered after missing penalties.
