Parking for Man Utd

Due to silly kick off time I'll be driving on Sunday. In case we go to extra time/pens, it means the trains won't work.

Anyway, does anyone have any previous knowledge on where to park at OT? I've only been on train before.

When I went to the 2003 win we parked in a huge car park outside the ground. I am very envious of you going! Have a safe journey to and from. Good luck!! COYW!

If you go from M60 J9 I think to city Centre/Trafford Park as you near ground plenty of schools/industrial estates that open up for parking.

When I went some years ago there were loads of places offering parking. We parked at a petrol station a shortish walk from the ground, think it cost about £10 cash. Last time I was there on the coach we took the prescribed route out and took over an hour to get on the motorway. You may want to take an alternative route to pick up the M6.

Thanks Bill, yeah i know it can be awful getting out after the game. Hopefully we'll be 5 up by end of the game and most Man Utd fans will have left!
