Anyone know how the Stansfield deal was structured? I'm hoping we're due a few £s now they've secured promotion.

I believe that to be correct and no doubt someone will know the actual amount.

Ali Mac?

All I know is £15 million (rising to £20 million with incentives) what the incentives are and how they are structured will either come out as guess work in the accounts or be between, clubs and agent. I would imagine we would get something but not expecting that much dosh for promotion out of League one.

Don't think it was ever reported what the bonus structure was. Do believe it was said that Jay gets bumper wages if promoted this season.

If I had to guess it's probably like 500k-1m for promotion to the Championship(they were always massive favorites), 1-2m for performance and 2-3m for PL promotion.

RAY Rock

I think they owe us 5 milllion for promotion

I recall one of the athletic reporters saying 5m if Brum were promoted from league 1 within a couple seasons or something to that effect

So seems likely we got 20m for stansfield so far

Sounds like a great deal in my opinion. Good luck to Jay but that was too good an offer to turn away.

Its mad how many of his goals are penalties. I would be interested to see how the goalcoring is next season if the penalties dry up. Even more so in the prem, if they get there

Bassey the warrior

Great business by us, well done Tony and Ali.

Hadn't spotted that.

ultimately I'm in the camp of, if he scores them that's what's important, but yeh, 18 league goals so far with 7 of them penalties in League one.

Not bad at all for a striker his age and I would have liked to see him flourish as a Fulham player, but yes, 20m at that stage of his career was crazy money and considering he also was seemingly pushing hard for the move, best outcome for all involved it seems.

With 20% on any future transfer too if he ever does get some £30m+ move...that will have been a minimum £26m for a player who'd never scored a premier league goal at the time.

Hope he continues to do well!

That tweet says £100k if they get promoted.

I don't think anyone knows the actual numbers. Sky said at the time "Sky Sports News understands it is an initial £15m, but sources in Birmingham say it is less."

Still a good deal, i didn't rate him personally. Think the Championship will be his ceiling.

It's actually 9 penalties! He's only got 9 non penalty goals in ~2300 League 1 minutes. And that's for a team that is by far the best in that division.

He's something like 15th in the division for non penalty goals
