Quote from: cookieg on May 11, 2025, 03:20:54 PMI really can't get worked up about the prices for the new stand. I won't be buying an ST there I might give it a go for an FA cup game. This stand is aimed at those fans who have a few quid and for corporate hospitality and if it brings a few more quid for the club then good. And as for fans being priced out well this happens with everything not just football.
yes I know it happens whithmost things but there such a thing a loyalty which the club are zero rated at . There's many been going longer than me 1958 , fewblips when was playing and after refereeing. But personally have have a continuous season ticket for over 45 years and when I asked early this season how much to go back to the riverside where I sat from when the first stand there was built I got quoted £3250 00.
That's astonishing lack of any loyalty.  I need to add I clipped the like on lighthouse in error . But don't necessarily disagree with all of it .

Loyalty is rewarded through renewing you ST during the offer period. The STs I have are fantastic value for where we sit. The old Riverside was always more expensive than the rest of the ground so the price you were quoted may not be far off from what it would be if the old stand was still there. Although im imagining the facilities are much better now.

The £3250 price quoted would have been for hospitality in Match Day.  General Riverside prices probably around 50% of that price.

My season ticket in the HE is £437 for next season - including OAP discount, equating to £23/match.  That is a superb offering (even for a shambles like last Saturday!)
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

It really is great value.
