With seven games to go in early April (after the Liverpool win) I posted this:

1) Most PL wins. We currently have 13 and need to win three of the last seven games to beat the 15 wins in 2022/23

2) Most PL away wins. We currently have six wins and need two more away wins in the games v AFCB, Villa, Southampton and Brentford to beat the seven away wins in 2022/23

3) Fewest PL defeats. We have lost nine times this season, and have to lose just the once in our last seven games to beat our best of 11 defeats in 2010/11

4) Fewest PL away defeats. We have lost away games five times this season, and if we lose just the once in our final four away games we will beat our best performance of seven away defeats in 2010/11 and 2020/21 (we were relegated in 2020/21)

5) Most PL goals. Currently 47 scored, we need to score nine in our last seven games to beat our best of 55 goals in 2022/23 and 2023/24

6) Most away PL goals. Currently 22 scored , we need to score three in our last four away games to beat our best of 24 in 2022/23 and 2023/24

7) Most away PL points. Currently 22 points, we need two points from our last four away games to beat our best of 23 in 2022/23

8) Best PL Goal Difference. Currently +5, we need +2 from our last seven games to beat our best of +6 in 2003/04 and 2010/11

9) Best PL away GD. Currently +3, our best away GD is 0 in 2022/23

10) Fewest PL games in which we fail to score. In 31 games, we've failed to score just four times, and can fail to score three times in our last seven games to beat our best of eight in 2005/06

11) Fewest away PL games in which we have failed to score. In 15 away games we've failed to score just once (first game of the season) and if we score in one of our remaining four away games we will beat our current best of failing to score in just five away games (2003/04, 2006/07 and 2022/23)

12) Most PL points. Currently 48, we need six points from our last seven games to beat our best of 53 in 2008/09.

So what have we achieved after 37 games, what have we failed to achieve and what's still up for grabs on Sunday?

ACHIEVED
2) Most PL away wins. After Saturday we now have 8, a new PL record for us
6) Most PL away goals. 27 scored, eclipsing our old record of 24
7) Most PL away points. 28 points, beating our previous best of 23
10) Fewest PL games in which we've failed to score. Six times (or possibly 7 of it's "Fulham Nil" on Sunday but we've still beaten our previous best of 8
11) Fewest away PL games in which we've failed to score. Three, beating our previous best of 5.
12) Most PL points. We've got 54, beating our previous best of 53.

FAILED TO ACHIEVE
3) Fewest PL defeats.
4) Fewest PL away defeats
9) Best PL away GD

UP FOR GRABS
1) Most PL wins. Beat City and we reach a new mark of 16 wins
5) Most PL goals. Score twice v City and we reach a new mark of 56 goals
8) Best PL GD. Need to beat City by 5 goals to set a new mark. And why not?

Considering our very bad run the last few months surprised we have managed so many. Shows how well we were doing before the slump.

God all my memory of previous prem stints before Marco is barely getting a point on the road let alone a win. Incredible to have 8 in a season.

Let's hope with some amazing signings and more squad depth we can start superbly again next year but maintain that to the end of the season. I look forward to reviewing another brilliant RL list next year beating this one if we do!!  ::thumb::

Just goes to show, even though people are disappointed for some reason with the season, or the fact we've tailed off a bit and not got Europe, it's been quite the season still and perhaps we've become critical more as a result of our successes and the promise the season has shown, instead of realising that it's simply been a very good season on a number of accounts and an extremely strong platform to build on.

Well done Marco and the squad, it's been a season of some real highs.

Let's have a fantastic summer and kick on next season!

Shredhead

Those are some incredible records, thanks for the research and posting.
I'm still a bit disappointed because we've dropped so many points from a winning position and not finished above Albion or Walham Green.

Have we "beaten" any of the "bad" records, like most goals conceded (obviously not this one) or most yellows?
