David Moyes adds Fulham star to Everton transfer shortlist as well as Kyle Walker
Everton are in the market for a right-back and Manchester City's Kyle Walker is emerging as a leading target.

David Moyes is interested in signing Kyle Walker as he prepares for the impending departure of Ashley Young.

Seamus Coleman isn't getting any younger, so there is a pressing need to recruit a first-choice right-back.

Walker, who is under contract until 2026, is available for sale after Pep Guardiola excluded him from the Club World Cup squad.

But, any forthcoming deal would require his substantial wages to be covered, so if Everton can't reach an agreement, here's the back-up they're looking at.

Everton eye Fulham star Kenny Tete
Everton have four right-backs on their shortlist, with Walker thought to be the priority option.

West Ham United's Vladimir Coufal is also on Moyes' radar, as is Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters, who is set to become a free agent.

Now, there is a new name surfacing, as according to the Guardian, Fulham star Kenny Tete is of interest to the Toffees.

Tete, like Walker-Peters, is soon to be a free agent upon the expiry of his contract at Craven Cottage and would represent smart business.

The 14-cap Netherlands international has amassed 89 Premier League appearances during his four-year stay in England, so it'd be a pretty risk-free signing.

Tete snubbed new Fulham deal
Fulham were in talks to extend Tete's contract, however, it appears no breakthrough has been made in negotiations.

According to BBC Sport, the 29-year-old is seeking improved pay on a two or three-year deal, so Everton would have to offer those terms to prise him away from the capital.

Tete would be a much smarter addition than Walker, as it wouldn't break the current wage structure at Finch Farm.

Plus, he is in the prime years of his career and isn't on the decline.

Fulham most active club in race to sign Raoul Bellanova
Aston Villa, Fulham, and West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing 25-year-old Italian international Raoul Bellanova from Serie A club Atalanta this summer.

According to a report by Corriere dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness, Raoul Bellanova is the subject of interest from Fulham. Aston Villa and West Ham United are also keen on signing the Atalanta wing-back in the summer transfer window. However, the Cottagers are the "most active club" chasing his signature, with the Serie A outfit demanding €40 million to part ways with the Italian international.

The recent rise of Raoul Bellanova
Raoul Bellanova has continued his ascent in stature in Serie A since joining Atalanta from Torino last summer. The Rho native could not find a stable footing for the initial phase of his professional career before landing on his feet during his spell with Torino.

The 25-year-old has seen his stock soar since joining Atalanta, and he enjoyed a productive 2024/25 campaign by amassing one goal and 11 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions. Meanwhile, Bellanova's progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Fulham, and West Ham United.

Premier League move on the horizon?
Aston Villa and West Ham United were also keen on signing the Italian international last summer before the deal failed to see the light of day. Aston Villa's continued interest makes no sense, as the West Midlands signed Andres Garcia earlier this year. So, unless they sell a right-back, the Villans do not need another option in the position.

Meanwhile, West Ham United's interest is understandable, even though Aaron Wan-Bissaka was excellent in the 2024/25 season and won the East London club's Player of the Year award. However, the Hammers are parting ways with Vladimir Coufal as a free agent in the summer transfer window, and they must sign a long-term replacement.

As for Fulham, the West London club will dip into the market for a right-back as they will likely part ways with Kenny Tete in the summer transfer window. So, Bellanova has emerged as a viable target for Fulham. The Cottagers are the "most active club" chasing the Atalanta wing-back's signature.

Meanwhile, the Serie A club will demand around €40 million to part ways with the 25-year-old Italian international in the summer transfer window. So, it will be interesting to see if a move worth €40 million to Craven Cottage is on the cards for Bellanova.

Calvin Bassey: Fulham make transfer decision on Super Eagles star
Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey just came off one of his best-ever seasons with Fulham, and he just might be on the move soon, Soccernet.ng reports.

Fulham had a decent campaign last season, as they finished 11th in the Premier League. They finished with 54 points, 11 points below the last continental spot.

Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey were two of their best legs last season. Iwobi had a career-best league campaign in terms of goal contributions, as he put up nine goals and six assists in 38 games.

Bassey was consistent at the back, featuring in 35 Premier League games, with one goal to his name. He was so good that he even won the Player of the Year Award at Fulham.

Bassey's performances even saw him tipped as the solution to Barcelona's defensive problems.

This summer, a lot of big clubs need reinforcements. And although Bassey has not been linked to any club yet, some of them might start looking at them if he continues to perform well.

However, Fulham have already made a decision just in case a bid arrives for Bassey. According to football expert Dean Jones, the Cottagers are determined to keep Bassey this summer.

Why Fulham want to keep Calvin Bassey
Fulham can afford to take their current stance on Calvin Bassey, as the Super Eagles defender still has two years left with a one-year extension on his contract.

Moreover, Bassey's last forray at a big club - Ajax - did not end well. So this time, he will be careful about his next move.

Nonetheless, if Fulham get a big offer, they might budge. Bassey is valued at €25 million on Transfermarkt.
