Fulham set to listen to bids to sell Adama Traore
Fulham will reportedly entertain bids to part ways with 29-year-old Spanish winger Adama Traore in the winter transfer window amid his links with West Ham United and Sevilla.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Adama Traore is the subject of interest of West Ham United. The Hammers are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a wide attacker in the winter transfer window. So, the 29-year-old Fulham winger has emerged as a target for the East London outfit.

Nuno Espirito Santo is pushing for a reunion with Traore after bringing the best out of him during their time together at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Newcastle v Fulham tickets and London club make public their allocation for Carabao Cup match
Newcastle United members and season ticket holders not on the Carabao Cup scheme, will see the ballot for Newcastle v Fulham tickets open on Monday

Then a week later a queue sale.

Meanwhile, details of Newcastle v Fulham tickets for away fans have been made public today.

In the Carabao Cup, away sides are entitled to 10% of capacity (15% in FA Cup matches). Although sometimes the relevant authorities and clubs themselves, can decide to not give as many as the competition rules point to.

Whilst 10% of the St James' Park capacity would equal 5,200+, like others before them, the full Spurs allocation for the last 16 match was 4,899 tickets. Issues with segregation and home and away fans needing to use different exits, has meant this kind of slightly lower (than 10%) maximum ticket total for away fans has been applied at SJP.

No such worries when it comes to Newcastle v Fulham tickets.

Great news for Newcastle United fans as the London club have taken an allocation of only 1,700 tickets. They go on sale on Monday.

Newcastle United fans hoping that Fulham won't be able to sell even this small allocation. Usually the away side sells tickets block by block and then if there still remains one or more entire blocks of tickets unsold as the match approaches, they would also be made available to NUFC supporters.

"Fans started booing me" – Player shares bitter memory of Fulham spell and manager
Aboubakar Kamara had a four-year spell at Fulham, and it's fair to say he had his ups and downs with the club.

In the 2018/19 campaign, the forward had an on-pitch spat with Aleksandar Mitrovic over a penalty against Huddersfield Town. The Frenchman took the spot-kick and missed it, sparking an angry reaction from then manager Claudio Ranieri.

Kamara also had another run-in with the Serbian later in his spell at Craven Cottage.

Now 30, he's spoken to So Foot about his time at Fulham. Despite having grown since then, he made his lingering anger about the penalty incident clear. Kamara also appeared to take a shot at the London club's fans.

"The difference in English stadiums is the fans. And I had an argument with them one day over a penalty.

"In 2018, they gave me a penalty shortly after I came on the pitch. I picked up the ball to take it, and Alexsander Mitrovic, who had just arrived at the club, said to me, "I'm the centre forward, I'm the one who has to take it. He shouldn't have told me that. I didn't want to know anything, and Claudio Ranieri went crazy."

Ranieri described as "resentful" over Fulham incident
"He asked me to let him take the penalty, and then my teammates did the same. The fans started booing me, too. At that moment, it felt bad. I was thinking to myself: You bunch of (redacted), don't you trust me? OK. I kept the ball without giving it to anyone and put it on the spot. And I missed the penalty."

The striker also had some criticism for Ranieri about how he reacted to the situation.

"Ranieri, who is a very resentful person, never forgave me. That day, he even told the press he wanted to kill me."

Kamara still isn't over the incident, clearly.

This is perhaps the only time an ex-player has spoken ill of the Italian. Otherwise, the ex-Fulham manager is known to be a manager who gets on with his squad.

Considering Kamara has also had other issues and his career didn't hit the heights it may have, perhaps a little introspection would help.

Aboubakar Kamara currently plays for Kanchanaburi Power FC in Thailand's top division.

Marco Silva 'wants assurances' Fulham will back him in January after contract offer
Marco Silva's decision over whether to sign a new three-year contract at Fulham may depend on whether he will be backed to strengthen the squad.

That is according to football finance expert Dr Dan Plumley who exclusively told Football Insider whether the club will be able to back Silva in the January transfer window.

Silva's contract expires at the end of the season and Kevin's £25million to Fulham from Shakhtar Donetsk was the club's only major signing of the summer transfer window.

Fulham's 2-0 defeat at Everton before the international break has left the Cottagers hovering above the relegation zone and in need of adding new additions to the team to help them climb the table.

Expert reveals what "will dictate" Fulham's January plans
Silva has been under pressure at Fulham for their poor form, but the 48-year-old has still been offered a new three-year contract which would keep him in West London until 2028.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Plumley believes the club can spend in January, but will be limited with how much they can back the Portuguese boss.

"I think they can spend, but I don't think they can spend huge amounts," Plumley said.

"They are just one of those clubs that, I don't mean this disrespectfully, but they're in the midpack of the Premier League.

"The gap to the top is almost unachievable right now, and you don't want to overstretch too much trying to chase that down off the back of the fact that if you slip, you're in a relegation battle, and that does come with severe financial consequences.

"It's probably that more so than anything that will dictate a little bit of movement in January because what they will want to do is secure Premier League status, and it'll be that as the driving force behind any activity in January.

"I'm pretty sure the manager will want assurances that he'll be backed in January because there was little activity in the summer.

"I'd expect them to be able to spend a bit, but, I don't see that being hundreds of millions."

Brendan Rodgers could be Marco Silva successor
If Silva does not sign a new contract at Fulham, then the club may quickly be on the lookout for a new manager amid their Premier League form.

Football Insider exclusively revealed that Brendan Rodgers could be sounded out by Fulham, if they sack Silva, with the former Celtic boss currently out of work.

Rodgers though was frustrated at Celtic's lack of activity in the summer transfer window, and could be hit with the same problem at Craven Cottage.

Stead: Feels like home

Currently sat top of the table after promotion last year, Fulham Women's storming start to the season has been powered in no small part by their rampant strikeforce.

12 of their 37 goals this season have been scored by Kayleigh Stead, with the striker currently top scorer for the Whites.

"I'm just happy to be scoring. I don't really have a target," she said. "When I score, I absolutely love it and to celebrate with all the girls is always a great feeling.

"I go straight to Pedro (our photographer). Before the game, I'll literally look to see where he is and he'll come over to me and say, I'm in this corner. So whenever I score, I'm straight over to him."

The 21-year-old's goalscoring return isn't exactly surprising when you consider her pedigree – coming through the academy set-up at Tottenham and brushing shoulders with some of the game's elite strikers.

"I was there for about three or four seasons. It definitely pushed me, being in that environment where you're training with players like Beth England.

"Making my professional debut for them was one of the best moments I've had in my football career."

That moment came at St Mary's during a Continental Cup tie against Southampton, when Stead's name was called as a second-half sub.

"I was speechless. Before I went on the pitch I was thinking, this is what I've always dreamed about. You've got nerves, but excitement as well. It's so hard to put into words, but it was literally like a dream come true."

Spells with Billericay and Hashtag United followed before joining Fulham – already on their way to the league title – in December last year. Stead was immediately impressed with her table-topping teammates.

"With the gap, you might think it wouldn't be up to the same standard as the first team at Spurs, but as soon as I came here and saw the way the girls were popping the ball I was like, ok this is serious.

"I knew then that they were going to win the league and to be a part of it was amazing.

"I think it's a very professional environment here. You've got that family feeling, and you can be yourself. There's so much banter within the team so you're always looking forward to that.

"It definitely feels like home. I felt that as soon as I came here. It's the best group of girls I've played with and when you have those connections and relationships, it's going to drive you on the pitch."

While the Whites again find themselves sat at the summit as they look for back-to-back promotions, Sunday presents a break from the league as the team travel to the Memorial Stadium to face Bristol Rovers in the Adobe Women's FA Cup.

Last season, the competition brought London City Lionesses to the Cottage, and Stead's eyeing up a similar run.

"I'm absolutely buzzing. I've seen their stadium and it looks very nice, and we're looking forward to playing on their surface. I think they'll be a good side and a good challenge for us to step up to.

"If we keep performing and clicking like we have been recently, we'll be looking for a positive result, so I'm really excited.

"We always want to do more than we have previously, so hopefully we can go even further than last season. I definitely see us as a team that can do that."

During the international break Harry Wilson captained Wales for the first time, during the game he played as the No.9, he scored a hat-trick and also an assist, he's got to start on Saturday hasn't he?
Raúl scored, a penalty, in Mexico's 2-1 friendly defeat, if he can carry on his goal scoring form for country when playing for Fulham, he's only scored once so far, "own goal" is still our leading goal scorer, Harry & Ryan both have 2.
Josh King also scored for England Under 21s against Slovakia, England are now top of their Euro qualification group.
Kusi-Asare managed an assist for Sweden Under 21s against Armenia, I'll be very surprised if he gets any game time against Sunderland however Muniz being out may get him a place on the bench.

West Ham told to reject Adama Traore deal – 'I sold him at Aston Villa'
West Ham United should not sign Adama Traore in the January transfer window according to former Premier League CEO Keith Wyness.

Traore has been linked with a move from Fulham to West Ham, and the winger could be available for a cut-price.

The Spaniard's current contract at Craven Cottage expires at the end of the season, and there is no indication that he will sign a new deal.

January could be the last chance for Marco Silva's side to cash in on Traore, and the likes of West Ham and Wolves are reportedly interested in the 29-year-old.

West Ham must avoid Adama Traore for the sake of the fans
Aston Villa's former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Villa Park between 2016 and 2018 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that West Ham should stay far away from any deal to sign Traore, as he consistently flatters to deceive.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Wyness revealed that he sold Traore to Middlesbrough during his time as CEO of Aston Villa, with Albert Adomah coming in as his replacement and doing far better than the Spaniard.

The 29-year-old has had spells at Wolves and Barcelona, as well as Middlesbrough and Villa.

Wyness added that he hopes Traore doesn't move to the London Stadium for the sake of the West Ham fans, as he has no end product.

He told Football Insider's Inside Track podcast: "I actually had Adama Traore when I was at Aston Villa and I sold him to Middlesbrough.

"I swapped him for Albert Adomah, and Albert Adomah did so much more for me than Adama Traore ever threatened to do. He's one of those players who flatter to deceive for me, and I don't think he has that quality and certainly not in the battle that West Ham are in right now.

"So I would be very surprised if it happens. Look, he's got blistering pace. But then no end product as far as I'm concerned.

"Nuno knows him better than I do as a player, but that's my observation of him, and I'd be very surprised if Nuno thinks he's up for the battle of relegation that they are going to be in. I would hope that he doesn't go there for the West Ham fans' sake. He's not a player I'm a fan of."

West Ham eye former Leeds United centre back
Meanwhile, West Ham are reportedly plotting a move to sign Toulouse centre-back Charlie Cresswell as Nuno Espirito Santo plans to land a new centre-back.

That is according to former West Ham and Man United senior scout Mick Brown, who claims that the 23-year-old is "certainly" on the Hammers' radar ahead of the January transfer window.

West Ham considered signing Cresswell during the summer but missed out on their late-window swoop.

The centre-back left Leeds United for the French club in 2024 and has since established himself among their most important and consistently impressive players.

Fulham forced to rule out planes as offer fans heavily subsidised travel for Newcastle United quarter-final
Fulham fans will see their team take on Newcastle United at St James' Park on Wednesday 17 December, playing for a place in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

The away fans were entitled to a maximum allocation of 4,899 tickets for this cup match but earlier today it was revealed that their club have instead taken an allocation of only 1,700.

Now the Craven Cottage club have announced how they are doing everything to ensure they manage to get as many of those 1,700 St James' Park places filled as possible.

Starting on Monday, Fulham season ticket holders will be able to buy four tickets each for this Newcastle United match.

Whilst their club are also offering heavily subsidised travel for all Fulham fans willing to make the trip.

Their club say they were forced to rule out putting planes on for the trip to Tyneside, however, they are putting coaches on and charging only £20 and £10 for kids.

Which means, that for travel AND match ticket, it would only be £40 for Fulham fans, £20 for juniors.

As Newcastle United fans know only too well, midweek away matches can so often be a challenge when it comes to travel, especially getting back to Tyneside from distant away destinations.

However, many Newcastle United supporters will look with envy at Fulham fans who are able to buy four tickets each for an away match, plus given so much help by their club in order to get there and back.

'There's been a fall-out' – Marco Silva's future at Fulham takes new twist
Marco Silva's future at Fulham has come into question over recent weeks as a result of a poor start to the season.

The Cottagers sit 15th in the Premier League table as it stands, just one point clear of the relegation zone.

Silva was linked with a Fulham exit over the summer, after becoming frustrated with the club's lack of business in the transfer market.

Tensions between both parties have continued into the new season, with the former Everton boss rumoured to be considering his position.

Marco Silva's new Fulham deal is 'strange'
Silva has been offered a new contract at Fulham, with his current deal running out at the end of the season.

However, Everton's former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that it is a strange situation at Craven Cottage.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that there has been a falling out between Silva and Fulham, and that something isn't right behind the scenes.

Wyness added it would be better for both if they parted ways and had a fresh start.

He told Football Insider's Inside Track podcast: "It's a bit of a strange one, isn't it? It seems like there's been a bit of a falling out, and they're trying to patch it up. It's just not quite right; there's something that isn't going on correctly there.

"It does seem that maybe Silva has come to the end of the road at Fulham. If he signs another three-year contract, then you've got the feeling it's done with both sides not really being happy about the whole outcome.

"I think they might be better off to break up and move on. It just isn't right, suddenly coming out with a three-year extension. I think Fulham might be better advised to consider a new break and a fresh start."

Fulham have January transfer target
Meanwhile, Fulham are looking to sign a striker in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

On Friday (14 November), Fulham confirmed that Rodrigo Muniz is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury.

The Brazilian, who has already missed a large portion of this season, could be out until February.

Sources say that the club are now aiming to bring in a centre forward in the January window to reinforce the Portuguese manager's squad.

Jarvis struck early once again, making no mistake as she put Rovers ahead inside just two minutes. The team folded once again in 2012, before reforming as Fulham FC Foundation Ladies in 2014, and eventually returning under their current name in 2018.

Back in the 2002–03 season, Fulham enjoyed one of the most successful campaigns in their history, winning the treble of the FA Women's Cup, League Cup, and Premier League, scoring an impressive 68 goals and conceding just 13. West Ham and Fulham are Monitoring Troy Parrott - AZ Want £30.8m for Ireland Hero
Ireland striker Troy Parrott could be set for a Premier League return in 2026, GMS understands. The 23-year-old left Tottenham for AZ Alkmaar in summer 2024 for just €8m and has gone on to score 33 goals in 61 games for the Dutch club.

Parrott was Ireland's hat-trick hero in a stunning 3-2 win at Hungary to reach the World Cup playoffs on Sunday. And he got a brace in Ireland's 2-0 win over Portugal – a game that also saw Cristiano Ronaldo sent off.

AZ's Valuation of Troy Parrott
Parrott has 18 goals for club and country this season and even before he made headlines for Ireland, Premier League clubs were showing interest. After scoring 20 goals for AZ last campaign, Leeds United considered making a bid of over €15m for Parrott, but eventually decided to add Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer instead. Leicester City also considered him, but their relegation to the Championship made a move impossible.

AZ sources stress they did not receive a formal bid from any Premier League club last summer and remain relaxed about Parrott's future heading into the January window. He is contracted until 2029 and he is valued by the club at around €35m, a number that could rise further if Parrott's form continues.

Parrott struggled for opportunities at Spurs making only four appearances between 2019 and 2024. He was repeatedly sent out on loan, with his most productive spell coming for MK Dons in League One, where he scored ten goals in 2021/22. A return to Tottenham is not on the cards, even though Spurs are in the market for a striker in 2026. GMS has learned Tottenham do not have a buy-back clause as part of the sale terms, but will be entitled to a 20% sell-on.

West Ham and Fulham Monitoring Ireland Hero
London clubs Fulham and West Ham have both discussed Parrott and are currently monitoring his progress. Neither have made a meaningful approach yet, but that could change next year.

Nuno Espirto Santo is pushing West Ham's hierarchy to add a target man in January. Joshua Zirkzee is one of the leading names, but there is no guarantee Manchester United will sanction an exit as the Dutch striker seeks minutes ahead of the World Cup.

Fulham will look to back Marco Silva in January and with Rodrigo Muniz expected to be sidelined until the New Year, another number nine could arrive at Craven Cottage. During the international break, Fulham owner Shahid Khan held further talks with Silva over his future. Fulham's preference has always been for Silva to extend, but the Fulham boss has been hesitant to commit up until now. Fulham hope that changes as they head towards 2026 with the Cottagers currently just a point above the relegation zone. The club are prepared to back Silva in the January market.

GMS understands Parrott is not agitating for a mid-season move and is settled at AZ, but his form is making Premier League clubs consider bringing him back to England. And should Ireland qualify for the World Cup, Parrott will have the chance for more heroics, and to put himself in the shop window at the tournament.

Sevilla contemplating Bosman move for Adama Traore
Sevilla are contemplating a Bosman move for 29-year-old Fulham winger Adama Traore, as they plot a move to bring the speedster back to La Liga.

According to Fichajes, Sevilla are thinking about making a Bosman move for Adama Traore next summer. The Spanish side senses a bit of financial opportunity to get a player of his calibre through the door, as the speedy winger's Fulham future is certainly on a downward curve.

Fulham had a plan in mind with regard to Adama Traore's future as they triggered the club option of a one-year extension back in May of this year. The primary idea was to find a suitor to sell the attacker, although the lack of offensive incomings until the latter stages of the window probably saw the 29-year-old Fulham speedster stay put.

Marco Silva clearly does not view Traore as part of his plans, often using him as a fail-safe option in games this season. With the Spanish winger's contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, he is pencilled in to move out on a Bosman deal, as Sevilla are now angling for a free transfer of the attacker, although the Cottagers are open to selling him in January.

Reports have stated that Fulham could make him available on a cut-price fee, although there are considerable doubts about whether any team would like to pay for his move at this moment. Hence, Sevilla might have a chance to get him through the door without paying a fee, as they are mindful of their financial standing at the moment.

Sevilla are eager to bring the 29-year-old Fulham speedster back to La Liga, where he had a short spell with Barcelona before moving to Fulham. Back then, he had a productive time with the Catalans, but the financial situation with the Spanish giants prevented a permanent transfer.

Adama Traore to leave Fulham
Traore does not see a future beyond this season at Fulham, and while the club might be open to selling him in January, there are doubts about whether he will make a rushed decision. There's also interest from West Ham United ahead of January, as former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, now with the Hammers, would reportedly like a reunion of sorts.

However, the prospect of returning to La Liga might also tempt Traore, as he could express himself better in Spain. Hence, Sevilla have a chance to sign him for free next summer, or if they can conjure up a similar deal in January, as Los Nervionenses are keen to get the 29-year-old Fulham speedster without incurring any costs on his transfer.

Alderete To Start? | Predicted 3-4-3 Sunderland Lineup To Face Fulham
After an eventful international break, club football is set to resume this weekend across the globe. Sunderland, who are enjoying an incredible run upon their return to the Premier League, will visit Craven Cottage to lock horns with Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

The Black Cats have been unbeaten so far against the London outfits, including a comeback win against Chelsea, followed by a last-gasp draw with Arsenal. Meanwhile, the Cottagers are struggling at the wrong end of the standings, as they lost five and only defeated bottom-placed Wolves in their last six Premier League outings. Sunderland have roped in an array of new names to bolster themselves across the pitch. Summer signing Robin Roefs has replaced Anthony Patterson as the new 'number 1', and the young Dutchman should keep his spot, having shown promise in English football.

Regis Le Bris is flexible with his formation, often switching between a defensive 5-4-1 and an attacking 3-4-3 during transitions. Although Lutsharel Geertruida stepped in and delivered against the Gunners, the potential availability of Omar Alderete might see the Dutchman make way in favour of the Paraguayan. Nordi Mukiele has been exquisite in deep defence, and so is Daniel Ballard, being the only centre-half from last season to retain his starting status in the heart of the backline.

Trai Hume has impressed from the right, as he balanced his game between attack and defence. Reinildo, the former Atletico Madrid left-back, remains the preferred option down the left due to his experience of the highest order. Habib Diarra has been sidelined for months with a groin strain, but Noah Sadiki, the 20-year-old Congolese sensation, has partnered with Granit Xhaka in the centre of the pitch. The blend of youth and experience has enriched the Black Cats with technical expertise, creative spark and vision.

Attack
Enzo Le Fee has not produced great numbers while featuring from the left. But his work ethic and flexibility enable Le Bris to tweak his setup and tactics. Brian Brobbey has made a difference from the bench against Chelsea and Arsenal, but the gaffer should stick with Wilson Isidor as his first-choice 'number 9'. Chemsdine Talbi is expected to reclaim his place down the right, replacing Bertrand Traore. Besides Brobbey and Traore, Eliezer Mayenda and Simon Adingra could also be deployed as 'super subs'.

He covers a lot of ground and has the confidence to get forward when necessary, as well as being able to provide solid cover for the defenders behind him.

Xhaka's passing ability and midfield presence could be crucial to their chances this weekend.

    Is there more to come from Wilson Isidor?

Striker Wilson Isidor has made a promising start to the season, with 4 goals in his first 11 Premier League games but fans may be hoping for more.

When the midfielders have been chipping in with goals, it is less of a problem, but if the goals dry up, then there may be the pressure on their striker to step up and increase his tally.

He gets himself into dangerous positions and creates chances, but in the Everton game it felt as though it just was not falling for him.

Sunderland do not always create the most chances in games but their success has been built on their ability to convert the opportunities they do create.

It is also worth pointing out that Isidor started the season behind Eliezer Mayenda in the pecking order so he has done well to become Regis Le Bris' favoured centre-forward.

    Dan Ballard is a defender who likes to defend

Centre-back Dan Ballard did head his side into a 1-0 lead in the Arsenal game, but he could also be described as a traditional defender and one who likes to put his body on the line for his side.

He has seamlessly made the step-up from the Championship and, in a team of new signings, it is Ballard who has been one of the standout performers.

Sunderland have a good defensive record, having only conceded ten goals so far, and Ballard has been at the heart of this. He is a fan favourite and typifies what the team are trying to achieve.

Fulham will be a test, and it will be a game that many expect Sunderland to win, but Regis Le Bris and his players will know that it could be a game where they could also drop points.

With such a good start, expectations rise and that brings its own pressure. The challenge now for Sunderland is to continue to do the basics right and ensure that their performance levels remain high.

There is some tough games coming up as they play Liverpool and Manchester City in early December, before the North East derby against Newcastle United.

Two subjects:

A) Traore.  I've always liked this player, and really believe there is a player there in him.  Sadly has not worked out at FFC.  Not sure if it's him or how he is used and what is expected of him positionally on the pitch.  There is a reason Barca picked him up earlier on.  At 29, theoretically he is in his prime.  Sorry to see has not worked out.

B) MS.  Wanting some assurances of support during January window?  Not sure what really can be expected there.  Everyone and his brother knows finding good players during that time is almost non-existent and should you fall upon someone you want, it'll be at a premium.  With Muniz out for so long (and Jimenez status and capability very 'iffy') another striker would be an obvious need.  Would be remarkable if that could be filled.  Not sure how to read MS 'demands'.......
