Loan Round-Up: Loupalo-Bi off the mark for Walsall

Aaron Loupalo-Bi and Olly Sanderson were both on the scoresheet for their respective loan clubs on Good Friday.

Loupalo-Bi got off the mark for Walsall in the Saddlers' 2-2 draw with Gillingham. It was a lovely cushioned header from the striker, who got up well to meet Courtney Clarke's deep cross from the left.

After being in and out of the squad in his early days at the Saddlers, the striker has now started four games in a row under Interim Head Coach Darren Byfield.

Speaking to Walsall's website, Loupalo-Bi said: "It's an amazing feeling getting my first senior goal. All credit to Courtney for doing the work, and I'm just happy to have finished off the cross.

"This is something that will build up my confidence and now I'm hungry to score more goals."

The Jermain Defoe era at Woking kicked off with a thrilling 3-3 draw against Eastleigh. Sanderson was on the scoresheet, helping the Cardinals come from 3-1 down to take a point.

His 14th National League goal of the season was a proper poacher's finish, heading into an empty net after Joshua McNamara had parried Kian Pennant's low shot back into the danger zone.

Elsewhere in the fifth tier, Chibby Nwoko played an hour in Forest Green Rovers' 4-0 thrashing of Brackley Town, while Terrell Works got through 90 minutes in Yeovil Town's late victory over Truro City.

Dino Kaiser kept his fifth straight clean sheet in Margate's 2-0 win at AFC Whyteleafe. The Bosnia youth international has impressed during his first loan spell, winning the club's Player of the Month award and the South-East Divison's Mitre Golden Glove award for March.

Marco Underwood was also on the winning side, as Uxbridge defeated Gosport Borough 2-1.

Luke Harris played 86 minutes in Wycombe Wanderers' 3-0 loss at Stockport County.
