They have an idea of how we felt when Lampard's shot was at least 4 feet over the line when 'we' played the German's but not given after their keeper Neuer scooped he ball out of the net. Ha! Ha! Ha!  ::thumb::

Don't worry, my expectations are not exactly great.

The Old Count

The Germany supporters will feel rightly aggrieved.
However, England have been on the wrong end of a number of bad decisions over the years. The Maradonna handball, the Beckham dismissal, the Ronald khoemens non sending off, the goal against Germany not given. So many that we've got used to it and expect it.

Neutral Zone Ultra

I'm German - no complaints, been a poor tournament and the team never looked overly convincing (Curacao doesn't count). Nagelsmann didn't show respect to Paraguay in his comments and his team selections have been questionable. Time for change.

Looks likely but have never liked him, especially since leaving Liverpool having copped out to stupid Trivago adverts having previously spoken out against corporate interference in football, and even though Nagelsmann has to go he's been baying for blood on German TV repeatedly which I think is a bit classless.

I think Southgate's available!

Imagine an Englishman being the manager for Germany and a German being a manager for England...

Since when is Trivago advert corporate interference in football ?, and why is it a cop out earning a living using his profile.?

I suspect you'd hear the German equivalent of Nick Bateman shouting "Sabotage!" each time "Der Inglander's Deutschland" failed to win a game!

Bill2

Only watched the first half yesterday but Germany were awful, couldn't pass to a team mate on the changing room.

Yes, so funny listening to Shearer getting more and more worked up about the lack of entertainment on the field and scathing with the poor Germany display.

I thought he was going to suddenly explode into a Bateman-style rant  ::angry::  :slap:
(PS. Apologies to Nick if he's reading this)

Couldn't have put it better however I tried 🙂

Englishman living in Berlin; love the Germans, but a few of my German mates from my football team assumed they'd already qualified before the game, so the banter today is pretty good.

But the general feeling was that they would have gotten slaughtered by France either way, so who cares?

That said, cannot believe how poor Germany was. None of my German mates had faith in nagelsmann before the tournament, but to lose in that manner against Paraguay is criminal; not that Paraguay are a bad side, but I felt Germany offered absolutely nothing all game. Surely time for klopp...

For those who understand german, this is comedy gold: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaMFDjUs42J/?igsh=MWdyNHFhajBvYnI5MA==
