First preseason friendly ffcw

Hi all , the women kick off their first preseason friendly on sunday against ascot United 2pm motspur park .we now are in tier 3 & ascot in tier 4.
Next season will be tough as we face many established sides & Portsmouth who have come down from the wsl2 and are remaining full time .
Sunday 19th we play actonians away & the 26th Stevenage at home .before playing away in Finland & Rugby borough at home on the 9th August
Our league fixtures are out 15th july .
There are a few long away games this season so we're hoping the club can lay on travel .
No news on ST prices but should be around the £50-60 mark .

Can you give us a bit of insight into how much of a challenge this season will be?
You say Portsmouth are staying full time, are there any other sides in the division that are full time?
Are any of the Fulham team full time?

So would the aim be to just stay up first season, then look to build?

hi Jim,
This season is definitely a step up in quality, we've done well with our 2 promotions but this will be a leveled. Teams like Oxford & bournmouth will also be going for it. I feel the club are at the cusp of going full-time & in a goid position to attract players .the investment in the team has been great so hopefully it continues. If we are to get in the wsl going full time is a must as well as an academy. The friendlies usually mean trialists will play with a view to signing so we'll see what level of players Steve has been looking at .all previous players have come with experience from tiers above so I expect the same again.
