In The Times top ten players of the year Clint is in at number 7.

He deserves the place, 13 goals from someone who played as a midfielder is fantastic. Well done, Deuce!  :Sparkyticus:

Burt, many thanks for the list, but Malouda first is madness!

a lot of that is debatable, though Dempsey should be in anybodies top 10 for the season, that many goals for a team struggling most of the season plagued with injury.

None of the so called players of the year in there either

Terry at #4 is a sad, sad joke.

As much as we might want to knock Terry, I think we are hoist by our own "Salcido must be a good defender, we have the 4th best defence in the league" petard.

Chelsea have only conceded 32 goals, he must be doing something right.

So I'm sitting here scraching my head - Cole. I knew it couldn't be Joe, and I didn't remember Carlton doing anything. Andy retired, and I was stumped for a while. :032: There's something about the greedy little sod that just makes me forget he exists. And it hurts that when I do remember him, I have to concede that he's not the worst left back I've ever seen.

Top stuff for Clinton though.  :Sparkyticus:
"Do not affix anything to this wall" - sign that was affixed to wall above turnstiles at Hammy end before someone with a clipboard replaced it with a large Fire Exit sign.
