Did anyone see the BBC sports news this morning at 8-30? The insignificant announcer waxed lyrical about the mighty Liverpool and showed their goals against a team that no one has ever heard of, said how Everton are now out and showing how and then a mighty brief mention that Fulham drew away and as a result went through....with no footgae at all. Grrr.

That's pretty much the same reporting I found in Oz. You'd never guess we'd just knocked out the cup holders. But at least the game was replayed in full on ESPN so I could enjoy it before dragging myself off to work.

Same treatment here in the States with Fox Soccer showing many match highlights of poo and others, and with the Europa table on screen, a brief mention that Fulham advanced over Shaktar on aggregate. Pixxed off barely touches my displeasure. Worse is that in a few days these morons will be our sole link to European football. Starts Sunday with us being picked for the replay slot. We really don't get any respect anywhere.
