Dempsey's worth

Needless to say Dempsey has been invaluable the past two seasons for us.  My question is what is his worth and why is not higher other than the age factor?  Someone on here was rating Dembele at 30 million pounds how can this be with the variance in the goal scoring and also the general skill of Dempsey?  How can other players in the Prem command a higher transfer and salary that have accomplished less?  There seems to be some discrepancy in the value placed on certain players.
Some of you with more insight please enlighten me.
I played in the first match I ever saw!

Mr Fulham

Dembele 30m? sure, with only a year on his current deal.

a. we always under value our players. b age is a huge factor as dempsey is at his peak c. everyone knows dempsey wants out and that we will let him go. but i would value him slightly higher but nowhere near dembeles value

Dempsey was a late bloomer and in being such will likely play out a career much like Ryan Giggs or Paul Scholes.  I, for the life of me, cannot understand some of the figures being tossed about concerning the worth of some lesser players being valued more.

Given the current situation, his age, his contract, his refusal to play. Worth about 6-8m as I can see him still having a few more years of being very productive due to him being a late bloomer (as stated above)

Perhaps poor choice for 'late bloomers', as Giggs and Scholes debuted for ManUre at 17 and 21 respectively, and are still playing. Nothing late about those two, longevity maybe.

Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Dembele is a much better player than Dempsey, goal stats and all. That is why.

Jol on Dempsey: "I loved him last year but I have not seen him much this year. "If there is no bid what can I do? I cannot sell him" #FFC

Jol is a right old joker and not in a good way
How much did that remark take of Demps value  :022:

think its the fact that no one wants him, that is devaluing him.
