Dempsey scoring big goals is a myth, take away his Chelsea double last year and the only other top 6 side he has scored against in the past two years is Newcastle.

In response I'd consider getting goals that result in points for us as big and when we racked with injuries at the beginning of last season he basically carried the club but hey he didn't score against city or Man u so I guess he's a bum.

If dempsey would have played, maybe we would have played less well as a team, one never knows. the team did well yesterday, it looks good without clint, we made chances and were a bit unlucky.
Or maybe he would have scored who knows, I don't miss him, but if available then he would be useful.
