He'd score quite a lot of goals with Ruiz and Berba creating chances behind him bu Jol doesn't like paying over the odds for English players so but he may available at a cut price. In regard to Fulham hating, two of their sports journo's are Fulham fans so I don't think that is the case.

Firstly, despite his age I rate Petric higher than Bent. Secondly, taking into account the talk of the departure of Brede, £12mil would secure the services of a solid central defender.  Were Brede not to leave, and fingers crossed he won't, the money could be put to good use filling the hole left by Murphy/Dembele.  

At this moment in time we don't need to bolster our front line.  Were we to have that kind of spare cash, which I sincerely doubt - especially to spend in January, I would hazard a guess and say that we wouldn't be looking to alter at our attacking options.  Nineteen goals in nine games speaks for its self.

Agree totally with Berbatov , Petric , Rodallega & Ruiz we certainly don't need to be looking for strikers
