Isn't it exciting!? ( optimism in face of pessimism )

Honestly, lads,

Firstly, I will be the first to admit that I am a knee jerker, and after the last run of form I have been quick to up on this forum and yell Relegation fears. I should stop this, but I don't and I apologize.

More importantly, although we are dropping closer and closer to the relegation spot...this scene is not dissimilar from Fulhamish ways. We are historically in the Prem to be a New Year team. Our form shows that throughout the years we rise through the ranks from 14th-16 to 10th-8th by seasons end.

All of these poor matches, although infuriating, depressing, and stroke causing...make our "little" Fulham a bit more fun to watch. I want to be as safe from relegation as the lot and as high up the table as possible, but doesn't the fear that right now each game truly counts towards survival make each match day eve more worthwhile. I can hardly sleep, waiting anxiously for the next match, knowing that survival hangs in the balance. As much as I hate it, I LOVE IT, it makes every shot, every penalty, every goal, and every missed chance that much more meaningful.

From this season I want 10th place finish or higher, and a decent cup run..quarter finals would be lovely. With that, and some added firepower in January, we set up well for next year. We are always going to be a team in transition, and if Dembele and Dempsey hadn't gone (or at least one had stayed) we'd be a much more smooth team. Keep Jol, survive the season, bring in some quality players, and give the gaffer one more season. He'll do the bizzo, and so will Fulham. Keep the faith.

A Fulham fanatic, a Drama Queen at times, and Sincerely Yours,

Some truth in this, we are always better in the Spring. This time though we have an unsettled squad and Jol does not know his best side. We certainly have the quality but they are not playing like a team.

Yes, indeed....unfortunately for Mr. Jol, he has a hodge podge of players from various different managers throughout the years. He needs the financial backing of MAF and to bring in 3-4 new players that play to his style. Once this clicks, all will be fine. We may not finish where we would like in the league, but survival is key. Survive to push on in another season. The teams below us keep losing, that is a saving grace at the moment.

nose

jol is making schoolboy errors and not getting anywhere near the best from what he has. the substitutions were maddness. he needs to be gone before we go down as we surely will if he stays.
