His books are wonderfully funny with ALL characters named after former FFC players.

   I had a spell working for the BBC and met him. Had just finished reading his book "Things can only get better" at the time. So we spoke about that and how he uses the name of Fulham players in his books. I later met Alf Dubbs (now Lord Dubbs) who is/was a big part of the afore mentioned book. He only had nice things to say about the John O'Farrell.
  I'm waiting to see if he manages to get Eyong Enoh into one of his books !

Well Eastleigh is considered a Lib Dem strongehold, and i think labour comes last in the odds to win, but I hope he does well.

He's written a very funny book about his years as a Labour activist, which is what I was during the same period. A horribly truthful, observant book.
