I really don't think this is a Jol on Kasami scenario with a penalty miss. I think Mourinho see's the talent and simply thinks for his development, he needs consistent game time which he certainly wouldn't get at Chelsea. Regardless of how you percieve the player, Jose has just brought in Eto'o and most of the time, they play 1 up top. They have Torres who is clearly the chairmens favourite. Both are on ridiculous wages, can you see both sitting on the bench on what they earn for a considered youngster?

Good points 1987. Maybe Mourinho is looking at the big picture/longterm with CL and cups to come. After all last year they played more games than any other team and the rotation system worked a treat.

they can only recall him (without approval) in an open window as its a season long loan deal. so basically any time in january.

To recall at any other time they would need league and both clubs to agree.
