With our current squad Certainly.... in a few weeks after a few player's have gone, I would be less confident....

We are signing some very creative and nimble players. I just wonder if he is gonna sign a tank in centre midfield/defence, A bit of a bully. I don't think we have this type and could be very handy in the championship.

At this time we are still a couple of players short, which to be fair Felix has already said, but I think that he knows what he needs and will get them in before the season starts rather than wait until the window is nearly shut.

So far I like what he is doing, so if we can get a decent Keeper and a CDM and CD then I think we will have a shot at it  065.gif

Depending on how we play and in what formation, two wide players, diamond or whatever. Are we still in need of some midfield pace as well as keeper if stockers goes and a centre half as mentioned? Plus a defensive midfield player?

Or are we just the few players short as Felix mentioned?

I actually think we're shaping up pretty well. Definitely needed the injection of youth and pace in the side. The full back positions have been massively upgraded, especially LB. Hutchinson looks a good signing at CB.

I think its obvious that we're going to play a diamond and not play wingers, so Dejagah leaving isnt going to be a huge loss from a positional sense. Parker seems like the only DM player we have, unless Hoogland ends up playing there, or Tunniclife gets a chance. Between David, Eisfeld and Ruiz if he stays (unlikely) we should have enough creativity at the point of the diamond. Will be interesting to see who fills the other 2 CM slots.

Up front we have loads of options, and I think we're fine here.

With the squad we have right now, I don't think we are sufficiently constructed for promotion. For me, we need at least one more CM and one more right-footed CB if we have no more players leaving.

I'm also going by what Felix has said. He feels he needs two or three more players. I have faith that he believes that these are necessities. The fact that he say he'd like to have them in a week's time leads me to believe that he knows who they are and feels fairly confident in getting them.

The remainder of this week, maybe into the next, should be exciting. I would imagine we'll learn those new names pretty soon as well as find out if we are losing any of Amorebieta, Dejagah, Ruiz, or Mitroglu.

Interesting, thanks for that

Curious to hear you expand on your reasoning for this assumption. Possibly it is to do with inside knowledge, having actually seen them line up that way already in preseason, or interpretation of the playing abilities of the roster as constructed. I'd just like to hear/read more.
