The Club can confirm that Ryan Fredericks will have surgery on his ankle on Monday 1st August.

The full-back picked up the injury in our 3-0 pre-season victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, and had to be substituted early on.

A 10-12 week recovery period is anticipated post-surgery.

Goalkeepers Marcus Bettinelli and David Button will also miss the meeting with Crystal Palace with minor quad tightness and a minor ankle injury, respectively, while Tim Ream is out with illness and Cauley Woodrow has a minor ankle issue.

All four are expected to be available for our season opener against Newcastle United on Friday.

Also a virus is said to have swept the club. So few subs today.

No mention of Ross so I guess he must have recovered from his injury, probably just needs to get his fitness level up now ready for next Friday. 079.gif

Ross is still injured apparently. But somebody has said Fulham now deny any virus but said that players are playing in the u23 game. Sounds a load of bollards that even Fulham could organise things better. Anyway only 4 subs named.
