Perhaps it is time for the top 6 to break away to form a European league?

Thanks City for damaging the Southampton GD. Every little helps...

I always used to say that while the Prem has several leagues within it. Any team can beat any team on their day. I am not sure that is the case now. The likes of City etc seem so miles ahead of the rest that it is becoming like Scotland. We still have a few teams that can win the whole thing but it is becoming so one sided.

Hate to see it change. But certainly the league is as good as over. City are the only team to win the Prem this season.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Dread to think what the score would have been Thursday night if City had fielded that 11, certainly would have scored a lot more than 6. I thought Southampton played quite well and think we will have our hands full when we play them, no gimme 3 points for us!

This was in the paper a few days ago and I was saying this was on the cards a few years ago. Would be a disaster for any fans who only see their team on the box unless your team was in the super league. There are no benefits for the clubs left behind as TV money will follow the big clubs. What about the fans, you cant really hop on a train to the away games, but then since when do any clubs think about the fans, especially the clubs mooted as being in the super league.

The league has been stale for several years now. I think the premier can do without the top 6, much more excitement for the real football fans. I rarely watch champions league. The likes of Juventus v Chelsea, complete borefest played in half empty stadiums around Europe.
