Post match interview behind paywall

There's this weird thing about being a grown up, it's called "decision making".
If you feel so strongly about not paying money for the channel, then don't. No one is going to be affected by your choice, apart from you.
I don't pay it, and I'm 99.9999999% sure everyone in the world, doesn't really care.

so what is the money the club get from Sky for if not for showing the game? why should we have to pay Sky, BBC and FFC to watch the same(ish) content.
how well did F1 do going to Sky? how about the cricket, how's that worked out behind a paywall?

Because they are the license holders
For instance - if you hear any recorded music at the ground or on the broadcasts from the ground - the Performing Rights has to be paid for - by everyone - so the clubs need to pay for a license, the broadcasters needs to pay for a license and if it is shown in a public place - pub or a hotel with a TV's in the bedrooms - they need to pay for a license too - like everything these days it is a money tree and the Internet makes it easier to find out who in the line didn't pay for one

As to F1 & Cricket - they seem to be doing very nicely - drivers get paid more than ever and teams have bigger budgets - there are more crickets competitions than ever and we're about to get a new one here
