If nobody else will start a topic on AK, I will.

He was Top Man tonight. Shows what he can do given the opportunity, and will boost his confidence ten fold.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

I'd definitely start him instead of Knockaert next game, who has been pretty poor. It could cause a big dip in AK's morale not to start him after his performance tonight.
I was there, standing in the Putney end

Has ALWAYS caused problems for opposition defences. Should sometimes pass when he should shoot, but to be fair I'm so frustrated that our players never shoot. Fans unnecessarily got on his back due to the penalty nonsense (which I 100% blame on Ranieri). He's a very dangerous player, who offers alot more that the majority of players in the squad

I have to say he played well.
His goal celebrations were a bit subdued. Sort of looked dare I say it, tentative, almost as if he didn't know if he would be cheered or not.
The other boys made a big effort to celebrate with him and showed real warmth towards him.
He seemed to feel better.
I think those post goal moments were a bit... strange.
Anyone else notice?

I was very critical of him, not just for the penalty alone, but his other antics that all seemed to add up to a toxic squad member.  I'm willing to accept it was immaturity and last night the goal celebrations seemed to suggest real warmth from his teammates.
I never shared the view that his touch was all that poor and yesterday he showed some good skills so it looks like we now have a realistic alternative to Mitro which is a huge plus.
Can we play them both? I'm not sure. Out wide as a swop for Knock I'm not sure is his best position. Possibly but I'd need to see more. Up alongside Mitro would be exciting but would require a total change of shape, so unlikely.
All in all a big step forward.

The only two moments during the whole game where thought, composure, and precise execution were delivered by us produced two well taken goals by Kamara.  First Odoi beat his marker, made ground, looked up, slightly delayed his cross and found Kamara's head.  Then Johansen intercepts a poor pass, makes ground, looks around and sees the perfect pass to Kamara who finishes with aplomb.  The message is that you will not win anything in a game of kick and rush especially if you allow opponents to dominate the pace.  We are back to not starting well in games because we do not have brains in gear from the first whistle.  We are back with panic because players are not holding shape within the team.  Kamara pointed to his head after his second, and it is somewhat ironic that he should be the man to do this given what has happened before.

Frustration has a way of messing with people and even players of quality are just as vulnerable as anybody else.  Kudos to Kamara for being the guy to point this out on the night, and I am so very pleased he didn't let FFC destroy him less than a year ago.

His movement for the first was brilliant, moving in to the gap between the defenders, his second was a good finish, the keeper knew what he was going to do but still couldn't stop it. Good commitment too. Also nice to see Mark Maunders praising him on Twitter after all the shenanigans last season (which I also completely blame Raneri for).

Subdued is the word which came to mind as I watched his performance. I think it was purposeful. After each goal he was pointing to his head as if to say "focus". He doesn't need more emotion in his game, but less. Whether it was an individual decision or down to management from the coaching staff, the less volatile version of AK is a tremendous asset.

First goal celebrations were in front of me - you could clearly see Mawson calling the whole team over to celebrate/congratulate with AK

Always liked Kamara, his strength and pace can drive fear into opposing defences. His problem has been that he can easily lose his cool and his fouls and dives can easily lead to match losing red cards.
,
Hopefully Parker has taken corrective action on that aspect of his game

has Ak ever been sent off then, I know pretty much the rest of our team has at some point, but struggling to remember ak being sent off
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

I always thought he had the ability to be exceptional but until now lacked the final ingredient to achieve more.
Looking back I now think his misdemeanours on and off the pitch were due to his frustrations and inability to manage them.
Maybe previous managers left him to sort himself out but it seems SP has encouraged him and shown him a way to be a better pro?

I for one have put his unruly behaviour to one side and hope he has turned a corner to maximise his talent for himself and the team.

Once, and it was overturned on appeal, so the above can be filed under 'absolute bo11ocks'
