Unfortunately, I also have such problems and it is very difficult. In general, I always couldn't understand why I'm so unlucky to be born with such problems and other people are enjoying life to the fullest and I don't know what that pain is. Maybe I did something wrong in the past, I don't know, but it's really very torturous. I was lucky to find out that SA Kratom can help me and I talked to the doctor to determine the necessary doses. In a short time, I really noticed good results and that made me very happy because I thought I would never get rid of these pains.

Nurofen Plus is good - Ibuprofen plus Codeine, especially when Fulham lose!

But seriously you have to be careful with Ibupofen, don't take it too regularly, it can damage the stomach lining and  cause internal bleeding.

A safe remedy that was recommended by my pharmacist is arnica massage balm which can be rubbed into the painful areas and used from the knee down to your ankle and feet.  You will still need a suitable painkiller preferably a diuretic type if there is swelling in the arthritic area.   A good pharmacist will help you out.

I struggled with knee pain from early 40's, saw various specialists. No matter what was given to me, the only thing I'll 100% swear by now is tumeric capsules.
I recently stopped taking them for a month (after approx 18 months) to see if there was a difference and my pain returned after 2 weeks.
Make sure that you find some with high curcumin content (700mg).
There's some nutri-ark ones on amazon, search "organic tumeric curcumin 700mg" and it'll come up.

Over 2 years ago I put this up.
The flaxseeds do the trick.

I take Tumeric curcumin12500mg with bioperine. Also glucosamine with omega three and chondroitin.I have been taken these for Year's years as had some arthritis in the family.Happy to report at 63 no pain so far.The curcumin content is supposed to be important so don't opt for the cheaper ones.Hence the 12500 which I'm supposed to take twice a day but I find one is fine.Hope you get relief for the pain soon.

If you have a problem with arthritis in your knees mince, which is no fun and I sympathise with you.
I have done some research on knees that are painful, stiff and creaky.
The deduction is that it's caused by kneeling down on hard floors for far too long looking through keyholes.
Can you explain why you are spending long periods of your spare time, or was it work related, kneeling down looking through keyholes.

He may just pray a lot, like most Fulham Fans.

Buy a bungalow, no stairs.

I know how you feel. I didn't quit playing football til I was 68 (over 55 league) which created the problem no doubt. I wear elastic knee braces to play golf now and take ibuprofin (but not too often, adictive I believe).

I have an MRI scan booked for this afternoon to see if I need a half or whole knee replacement. I've had arthritis in it for 20 years and I decided that massively 'od'ing on Ibuprofen wasn't the way to go any more.

I think its worth mentioning taking supplements may help with peoples joints but needs to be taken tandem with other measures.Lose as much excess weight as possible. This i appreciate is no easy feat for some people but maybe in the New Year decide you want to exercise and change the diet plus the supplements and i am sure this will have a beneficial effect on your overall wellbeing.

I couldnt find any cannabis oil but bought a herbal blend from Ganga Gary. You have to roll it in paper and inhale it

I forgot about the pain by my legs turned to jelly and my head spun for a while
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

Ask Alfie Mawson he is the expert on knee injuries!

Try slamming your old boy in a draw, it'll divert the attention away from the pain in your knees.

Save your money and move somewhere warm. I wish I was kidding.

On the knee replacement list for one here.

There's a product advertised on the net over here called SUSTAFIX. It seems to help a lot of people here so may be worth investigating.

My pal uses Voltarol pain relief 2.32 gel for his knee, we have it on a Sainsbury order today for him.

Check with the Doctor first, but you can heat some vegetable oil (not too hot), mix Turmeric in, apply it topically, but remember Turmeric may stain the place of application, but it has healing properties.

Time to bring in some footie expertise from 'strictly championship level striker' Thomas 'Hal' Robson-Kanu.  Clearly another footballer doing good with his flavoured turmeric shots.  Sounds more fun than the other remedies mentioned.

A double buy for January for Mitro with a back up striker and a cure for his injury woes.
