I would like to see some English players  coming in...

Daniel Sturridge fits the Bill nicely, big strong good upper body strength with so much ability when he puts his mind to it.
Then there is the Blackburn Rovers pair Adam Armstrong and Jacob Davenport.

Demari Grey a good shout as would add quality and depth to our wingers, also still only 24!
Striker, I'm not so convinced about Josh King, not sure he would provide goals needed.
I think Origi could do a job, I doubt we would get him but players not getting game time ieninacho (spelling way out) of Leicster would be brilliant

Demarai Gray is an awful player, Leicester fans have wanted rid for a while now.

Demarai Gray is an exceptional young player. Has everything Lookman has and more. Can play either side or up top. Add him plus a high quality striker and the goals will come.

Sorry but this isn't true, while there may be a decent player in there for Gray, he's nowhere near as good as Lookman and he's also been around longer and has stagnated since he first left Birmingham for Leicester

he doesn't have to be better than lookman, just better than rlc or cav. And he probably is.

Some good suggestions but please no old battle horse like Sturridge or Welbeck looking for a final payday.

We missed out on Bamford, obvs King or Stanislau are favourite targets but the Dutch league has some good players available not to mention both Denmark and Norway where fast, fit and freescorers like James or Borven are really good. More of a gamble but rewards can be massive.We want someone to compliment Lookman, Cairney feeds him well, we need someone he can play off.

Might be easiest simply pushing Bobby further up as we have a surplus in midfield in the squad who can do the defensive job too.Josh will be back, we have Joe Bryan and Kongole who are all avaiable next month.

we can't have any more prem loans and less we can get chelsea to take Rubens back. And yes they bought sarr for 30 last year so will be well out of our range. But would have been a great addition

For me Lookman's decision making needs to improve. He appears a little too selfish at times, Sunday a prime example when a short pass to the overlapping Robinson would have seen Robinson through on goal. Happens every game; not a criticism, merely an observation. I've seen an awful lot of Gray and he has a better end product imo.

Why? They come with inflated price tags and wages. I'm pretty sure the clubs with the two most English players in the league are Burnley and Sheff United .. hardly setting the world alight.

Don't want Sturridge, but an attacker around 31, that's currently playing in Europe (not the UK) might be the answer.


I'm thinking Ryan Babel from two years ago.  No, I think Ryan has finally started to break down due to his age so I'm not suggesting we bring him in, but we can't question he was a good pickup two seasons ago.

Someone like that...and no, I don't think Daniel Sturridge is that player.

I know it won't happen but send RLC back and get Giroud, with him in the team we would be fine this year, he's on same wages as RLC, so that wouldn't be a problem.
We can easy play him every week! Would be perfect fit.

Why would we get Giroud (and why would he come) when we have Mitro who is essentially the same type of player rotting on the bench as he clearly doesn't fit Parker's plan.

Whoever we are getting (or not) needs to be ready to go for the 26th of January for the Brighton & West Brom games - 6 points in my opinion that will be crucial in the relegation battle. Loose both games and it will be very difficult to stay up.
Knowing how we run our transfers however it doesn't inspire me with hope
