Under 23's

After watching the disappointing first team match last night, I thought I would read about the under 23's win away. So I go on the offal and other than the result there is no mention in the match report section. Come on Fulham surely someone must be able to publish details quickly after a match. 092.gif

One minute it wasn't there, the next it was. I suppose I'll have to be less impatient. 092.gif

Statistically they only need to win 7 and draw 1 of their .last 11 matches to win the league. As they have only lost 1 this season it looks a stroll.
The only danger is that some of their best players will go out on loan as has been mentioned by Marco.

Sessegnon came off early, probably injury. Could he join the right back debate.

Really good results coming from the under 23.

Larkeche seems to be a real prospect at left back. At the moment he has both Robinson and Bryan ahead of him. That appears to be a problem as Larkeche should be being pushing for a first team place. Given that Robinson has suitors elsewhere and is generally either off form or just not as good as we all hoped is it time to cash in on him and promote Larkeche to challenge Bryan?

Get a few of them into the first team, Larkeche would be better than Robinson.

I think a problem for Sessegnon is that he has become the utility player for the U23s. A couple of games he fills in as a defensive midfielder, then Larkeche is injured and he fills in at left back for a few games. When Larkeche is back Sess goes to right back. Might be hard to push for a spot in the first team if you don't get to try to stake your claim in any specific position.

It's a shame really, because injuries and Parker's seemingly poor man management has done him few favours. Looked a real prospect for me, and could maybe be our new Odoi if he gets another chance. Obviously I have zero inside information, and as such some of the above is pure speculation.
