By scoring four this evening, Fulham have equalled their best ever "number of goals scored by Fulham in three consecutive league games", 17. That has stood since the 1928/29 season when we won 6-1, 6-2 and 5-1 in succession.

Let us hope we surpass it in the next 45 minutes

In fact I wonder how many teams have managed 19 in three games?

Barnsley have managed 16 in 24!

If we continue like this there could be a few club records broken by the end of the season.
Right now though the important thing is the five poit cushion over the team below us with a much better goal difference. This means they have to win two while we lose two to get above us.

Arbroath  scored 36 in one game against Bon Accord in 1800 and something. 🙂

In the last three games, we've scored more than double the home goal tally the last time we we're in the Premier league...

Who was the manager then, his name escapes me.

Everton managed 20 in three games in 1954 - that was also the last time that any team in English football have managed 6 or more goals in three successive games, until tonight :D

Thanks Jamie, that's a pretty impressive performance from our lads.

Counting just league games, Chelsea managed 20  (winning 8-0 at the end of the 2009/10 season, and 6-0 and 6-0 at the start of the 2010/11 season).

Back to Fulham, after 26 games we have already scored more goals than in 76 of our previous 103 full seasons since joining the league in 1907.  Perhaps we have a chance of surpassing our club record of 111 goals in the 1931/32 season, while noting that insanely that was in a 42 game season.

That's because Bon Accord players were each smoking a pipe during the game as nobody reminded them to leave them in the dressing room along with their gun dogs.

BBC's report says that Fulham "are the first English side in 88 years to score six or more goals in three consecutive games, a feat last achieved by Chester City in the 1933-34 season".

Technically BBC is correct if you include all games, not just league games. Everton's 20 goals in league games had a cup defeat in the middle, and Chelsea played a Community Shield match and a FA Cup final between the league games.

Let us keep breaking records as we are more than capable.
Of course Stoke should provide a different kind of challenge and i would settle now for a 1 0 win.
Nevertheless this team have tasted the blood of their opponents and it obviously tastes sweet.
So keep up the good habits and carry on playing to our strengths at our tempo.
