bloody brilliant game from Reed
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

The stream I watched had a Swansea commentary and kept breaking down, I only saw two of our goals. Looking forward to seeing the match  on FFCtv tomorrow with GJ giving the commentary. I seems to me right now that all our players had another good game.

Bassey the warrior

I also thought he was great, his attacking play has been steadily improving throughout the season and he's got a decent cross on him too. Well done Harrison and well done Marco for developing him.

Reed was one of our best players under Parker and still one of our most important players IMO.

He seems to move outside to the right more often now, while Wilson moves inside. Provides another dimension to his game & the team's play.

I didn't think he could play further up, with Seri behind (felt as if the roles should be reversed), but today he was really excellent in and around that right corner of the box, getting to the byline etc, but still able to get back and break the odd thing up.

On the other hand, I felt like Seri didn't get much going, when given the extra space and deep defence in the second half, him coming onto the ball around the edge of the D could have seen him show off some of those cute passes or get a shot away.

That's not to say we're not excellent in the centre of midfield, but I still feel like Reed + Cairney/Seri (and who plays more advanced) is a small conundrum we haven't quite solved.

Last thing to say is that Swansea were awful, even in their "good" first half. Yes, they looked comfy on the ball, but they barely got the ball forward at all and we held them at arms length with 11v11. They were working too hard just to keep up, hence the red card, hence the injury, hence their ultimate collapse. A lot of that is down to the fact that players like Reed are a yard nippier than their opponents, who have to be in the red zone to keep up.
