Matchday Tickets - Ticketing

We have an obligation on FOF to keep it's members safe, and when it does come to matchday ticketing, we've maintained a zero buying / selling / swapping policy on the Forum, and have previously removed any posts.

Now that we are back in the Premier League, the touts do seem at large again, and we've had a couple of situations on here, where they've signed up as new members, claiming to want tickets, or to have tickets for sale.

On the other hand, we do have genuine members, that on occasions, have tickets to give away, or are in need of them, so it places us in a sticky situation.

We can't buy or sell tickets, or have any involvement in the handling of them to keep our members safe, it's against the law, however, it is the members responsibility to keep their selves safe online, and detect any foul play.

If we were to allow this on the Forum, does anyone have any good ideas on how we can do this, sensibly, without it having any impact on members safety.

You shouldn't bother. Fulham watch for ticket details on boards and anyone giving too much of a clue on the location of the seats risks them being cancelled.

I am a member of bluemoon forum same username and they have a great blueprint (no pun intended) that they follow. If you have a membership number you can add them to your friends and family list and transfer ticket to you. However, FFC do not have this option.

I think a zero tolerance policy is good but I just think if people want to sell a ticket people should be savvy about it (have street smarts) regarding scams etc e.g. what to look for. And if people cannot make it to the game and want the money for their ticket they can sell at FV and it will benefit those who want to go to the game but cannot get a ticket.

Use PAYPAL and select the option Goods and Services, that way if you are scammed you can raise a dispute with PAYPAL and you are protected against fraud.

I had to sit in the Chelsea end on Friday because I couldn't get a FFC ticket.

Golden Rule is as follows:
It has to be sold only at Face Value not for people who want to make a profit that would be the best way to police this. Anyone who tries to flog for more will get found out as we have a price list e.g. Category A,B,C games etc....
