We need a striker....but who's out there.... Chelsea have spent the best part of a billion quid & they still couldn't find one.... they're not the only club.....over half the prem need a striker..... We can't blame the club for not getting a like for like replacement for metro - we probably now have to adapt a different playing style to accommodate our player's

Chelsea signed Jackson and if the media is to believed, had the opportunity to get Vlahovic for 40 million + Lukaku but thought that Jackson was enough. I have no doubt that if they wanted to get another striker they would have got him, as they seemingly have an unlimited budget.

When it comes to Fulham, of course it was impossible for us to get a Mitro replacement who was of his calibre, but I still think we could have found someone who'll improve the Raul/Muniz/Vini rotation.

There were multiple suggestions by multiple people througout the window. If we got pretty much anyone of those players it would have improved us in my opinion. Even players like Origi who were suggested towards the end of the window when options became scarce would have impoved us as he's better than at least two of the three and would offer something different. I really don't believe this is the best we could have got.

The problem we will have going forward is not the fact that we didn't bring in a replacement for Mitrovic but more the fact we didn't bring in cover for Palhinha, we are a completely different side with Joao and we don't have one single player that can cover for him,
Absolutely imperative we bring cover in during the January window, failure to do so could prove very costly indeed.
