Not before next Sunday please! We don't want another new manager bounce
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

Agree, Spuds have had numerous injuries especially in defence. Not the managers fault, just one of those things.
That's a factor, and Levy is a huge factor, but at the end of the day Ange is responsible. Their style of play does not work week in week out. Players like Madison, Son, Richarlison have regressed

Just keep away from Marco, however they have the money to pay the 6m release clause.
Personally think he'd  be mad to go there.
They would go for Iraola before Silva, but he strikes me as being quite a clued up shrewd fellah with Spurs in absolute disarray and Bournemouth flying I can't see him entertaining the idea and the Bournemouth owner is no mug and definitely won't get pushed around and bullied by Levy and Spurs.

Disagree. Iraola plays a fast break counter attacking style and doesn't prioritise possession. That to big club fans is not acceptable and is why they rejected Nuno. My view is Silva would be chosen ahead of Iraola rightly or wrongly

Having the big teams who think they have divine rights to the top positions of the table struggle so much is refreshing.

We have a real chance to get into the top 8 and upset the apple cart.

I'm sure the likes of Man U Tottenham will get PSR rules relaxed to help them regain what they think as their rightful place at the top table.

no worse than Boscombe and they are doing ok

Super Mick

Ange must be running them into the ground in training with all the injuries they keep picking up.

His playing style was successful at Celtic, in a league that is far less competitive that the Prem;
but he so far seems to have failed to adapt  to the English elite game, with his  refusal to change from an all out attacking style, which leaves his team wide open at the back, often seeming disorganized.

Though injuries haven't helped.

He definitely dislikes the English media, which he sees at biased and sensationalist, and his interviews are often confrontational, with him refusing to change  his playing style or see anything wrong with it, blaming injuries, and refs for poor results.

On Saturday, they came back to get back in the game after being 3 down at Everton, but it was too late.
Also had a great result at Old Trafford, but who cant beat man U today?!

Two managers  who are probably dead men walking. Ange definitely is, though Spurs fans blame Levy.

True, Bournemouth have injuries issues too but Tottenham are pretty much missing their entire first choice defence and keeper. Any team would struggle without Vicario, Udogie, Romero, Bentancur, Van De Ven, Johnson, Solanke and Bissouma. Most of that lot are first choice. There are others, including Timo Werner, too many to list. So, no, you can't compare Bournemouth with Spurs.

It has been said that the playing style is the cause of the preponderance of injuries, particularly muscular injuries. I'm not qualified to opine, but I am sure that few on this board will shed a tear for Spurs.

And shed a tear for Levy of course

Personally I quite like Ange and hope he gets more time.

Boscombe had 8 first teamers out against Newcastle and the bench had something like 100 hours premier league experience. Spurs new 12 million keeper has slotted in nicely. Very comparable. The difference is that one manager has adapted and the other hasn't

Logicalman

Here's some perspective from their fans.. looks like someone has mentioned a split in the dressing room between players, and Ange doesn't quite have them all on his side ..

"The thing what bugs me about Ange and his press conferences, is he moans about being hard done with injuries, but what about Leicester away, Newcastle away, Palace away, Fulham home, Ipswich home, Brighton away.

He fielded a very strong side in those games and we still lost or dropped points. I'd love someone to just respond with that when he wheels out the usual injury excuses. Yes we do have injuries now, but we didn't earlier in the season and we were still s**t.

If we had won a few of those games earlier in the season, it would have given us a buffer and we wouldn't be where we are now in the league.

I made this point in September, that it isn't a good sign when you are losing despite performances being ok, because as soon as those performances drop off, we'll be f****d. But everyone was like, no we are on the verge of something special with Ange. LOL.

Anyway, now the leaks have started from the players, yeah he's f****d.
"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"Lol are you seriously trying to defend Ange and/or his record, just look at the points tally for Gods sake, look at our league position and take into account that current form is just about worst in the league bar the bottom two.
Do you think Pool.are overly worried about going one down at half time, knowing the second half is in the graveyard that is Anfield, one of our worst hunting grounds, the only thing they probably would fear is a new manager bounce.
As for City, our win was the first in what was the start of their decline, practically everyone took points off them for the next ten games.
As for starting well against Woolwich, unfortunately games are played over 90 minutes.
Utd are a bigger basket case than I'd, was a battle of the clueless and leaderless that we edged.
I wanted Ange to succeed as much as the next man, but always knew he would have to do it with one hand tied behind his back, as Levy does with all managers. In saying that and even allowing for injuries, he is completely out of his depth. He has one style of play, it was quickly figured out by everyone and he refuses to adapt, the end is nigh and the sooner it happens the better for all involved.
"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"I actually think Sami Mikobel has gone early on his story, trying to be first to break anything expecting the sacking of Ange soon.

I think the players are behind Ange, and training isn't as bad as being made out. I can't see Marco Silva being a Lange guy, but Frank, McKenna and Iraola will be. I don't think Ange's future will be determined by Thursday's game, but definitely by Sunday's.
"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"I understand the average 'workday' for a footballer is about four hours - training around 8am-12pm including recovery, physio etc., and then the afternoon off. Some are super into the gym, others aren't, as you would expect. The games come thick and fast though.

I can understand the stresses and strains from intensity in games - which is why training needs to be at the right level, of course - but I don't see how fit young guys in excellent health complain about being knackered, it seems odd to me. Mind you we do seem to get A LOT of injuries in training, too many to just be a coincidence...
"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"That's no true though is it. There have always been others to play but he won't play then.
Cause and effect here.
The root cause being Ange's stubborn streak. And some of his choices in who to give playing time to and when. And I guess who to actually sign.

And at this point to discount his training practices from being part of the issue is just ignoring what he's said himself in the past.

And as every Ange fan and Celtic fan said when he was coming in, he's a man of principles, he won't change or budge and expect injuries.
Which is exactly what we got.
"

"Honestly I've followed his career and injuries ARE NOT the norm. That's a fact.
As for not playing players, there is a reason that we're not privy to. Seriously his career is on the line and you think he's not playing players who could do a better job????
Yes Ange is stubborn but that's more to do with his footballing ethos. As in the mentality he's trying to create. He said from the get go the club needs a culture change.
"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

"We've all seen it before.

And you are bang on, not one player spoke to Sami loving Mokbel. For all we know Sami knows Milesy and he's been the leak all this time...

Either that or it's Levy's Brother in law, that meathead player liaison. My money would be on him. He's blatantly a plant from the board. No coach has ever had the choice not to hire him either.

Levy knows he don't want to invest in the squad needed for this type of Intensity, sameway he knew he didn't want to spend the 70-80m on a world class CB that Conte needed. Then he just waits for the fans to turn on the coach.
"

I agree (and I was reluctant to post for that very reason) but H4, can you rename it please? I'm sure you thought it was very amusing when you first posted it, but it's just misleading now.

(Obviously, you'll be able to post another one when he is actually sacked in a day or two!)  ::tongue::
