I'm very worried our people in charge struggle to deal with the transfer window when it's normal can't see them managing to buy and sell late in the window personally I can see mistakes being made and silva and his staff will find it amusing watching them flap but for us fans it could turn out a disastrous finally.

Things to consider on transfers......

1.We do not and will never have the money to compete for the very top quality players who are at their peak.
Good players, like many we have brought in recently will always have offers from elsewhere to consider.

2. Since the errors made during the early days of Khans ownership we now generally bring in players who have served a purpose or have become prized assets to the team.

3. Could it be true that for a club like ours waiting means the minds of other clubs, players and their agents become more concentrated on getting a deal done at the end of the window.
Which means we get a better player that has been waiting for all options to play out before deciding on which mid table PL club.

Who really knows, but in recent seasons we have only brought in improvements (the only doubt being ESR) to the team.

We just have to wait until the end of the window before passing judgment now.

I do think at this point it's shaping up to be a really, really poor window. The pace of our business is absurd - even last year we had Sessegnon confirmed at this point and ESR announced 48 hrs from now. The players we're being linked with will do nothing to address our bloated wage bill and ageing squad. I'm not even seeing links with a quality level that'll take us from 11th to 7th.

Think we're just going to have to say, "oh well we didn't lose anyone important, we probably won't get relegated, and players can keep going until they're 40 nowadays." Desperate stuff.

We could be on zero points when the window shuts our teams last 11 games was relegation form conceded goals for fun and found it really difficult to score . Standing still and complacency gets you relegated hanging your hat on a 25 year old Nelson that has only played 60 premier league games is a accident waiting to happen I think he is bang average he gets bullied off the ball and there has been 0 improvement since he was 18 years old . This summer has been a shambles we have been sold a pup
