This may be of some interest. As a relatively avid collector of '50's (19) FFC programmes I splashed out £1  for a home to Bristol Rovers 1956/7.
'Cottage Crumbs' offered 'A welcome visitor to our dressing room a fortnight ago was Ferenc Puskas, the Hungarian inside forward genius who was looking forward to settling down with a club in some part of the world in the near future.'

I wish he had settled down with us! I s'pose Real Madrid may have offered more.
