I have just been to the funeral of Andy .
I met Andy around 2007 at a chance meeting at a Rugby Club in Newcastle.
My lad was at mini rugby with a school friend.
And came running up to me saying there's a boy with a Fulham shirt on. which was unheard of.
His lad introduced us to his Dad. And we have been friends ever since.
Andy was born in Dartford but like me never forgot our roots when he moved
to the North East,
Our boys were the same age and  we shared train journeys to away games together with them .
The highlight was Man City away 2008.The start of the great escape.
Plenty of beers were consumed on the journey back to Newcastle.
We always meet up for the games.
Like me Andy travelled down to Craven Cottage regularly.
And it was there on the last day of the season against Newcastle.
I saw him for the last time . Andy recently retired  French teacher.
Had a brain tumour and passed away Aged 60 on 8th July.
God Bless.Andy from our Fulham Family

Much too young

Sound like he was a good lad

Sincere condolences to his family

RIP Andy
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

That's very sad, Should have had a few more years enjoying retirement. Thoughts are with you and his family.
