Watching that and remembering how many of those games I was at makes me feel old, thanks for sharing that.
I am pretty sure I still have that VHS in the loft along with of a fair few others from that era.

We are going through them now, if there are any we don't have, and you want them preserved and converted, let us know.

Watching that game against Tranmere Rovers Oxford Utd in the Littlewoods Cup, I can't believe the Tranmere Oxford player diving to keep the ball out of the goal with his hand (5.05 mins) - it looks like he didn't even get a card for it!

Different times I guess. Thank God we scored the penalty!

that cup game was at Oxford, I remember it well as when we scored our 4th my brother hit me in the face knocking out a contact lens, so I only half saw our 5th goal.
Jim Stannard had the opposite problem to Calvin Bassey, who struggles to keep his shorts up, I think had Jim sneezed he would have cut himself in half !

Sorry you're right, it was Oxford - I'm getting confused. Tranmere was the game before it!

Jim Stannard was a big fella - it was probably difficult to find shorts to fit him!  :slap:
