The Old Count

A good point away against a decent team sitting 6th in the table.

10 points from our last 6 games. That's 63 / 64 points over a season.

End of season, a few players carrying knocks, strains. Kevin injured, a couple of players still getting used to the system.
Silva doing well with what he's got.

There are some unrealistic expectations on here.

Theyre already back from the beach resting

Fortunately for us our German keeper never went to the beach

Quote from: The Little Dave on April 18, 2026, 02:27:04 PMAbsolutely sick inside. I don't even have words to complain about something specific.

Play was disjointed up forward, too slow, missing passes,  crosses just gave the keeper catching practice.

As out of form Muniz is, both him and Raul desperately suffer from a lack of service, Raul was all the way up near RB trying to get a touch on the ball. A Spark is desperately needed
How he's starting Muniz before Raul has me baffled.

Neither get the service they should be getting but  Raul is leaving and just needs to keep ticking over so he can give everything at the WC.
If he leaves he can get a nice signing on fee, Fulham doesn't want to pay that for an older player.

Muniz needs game time to get back to match fitness, next pre season starts here for him after a long lay off.

Not saying I agree but that's what I think is happening.

And you would be correct I reckon

He's already put his towel on the sun lounger.

Random stat without context. Our last 6 matches include 4 team either being relegated or battling it. Sorry you can't extrapolate that out to a full season lololol.

Is it unrealistic to expect at least one shot in target? Is it unrealistic to hope that the players give their all every game? Once again our season ended in March.

There are no easy games in this league. The the team at the top of the league can draw with the bottom yet beat the second placed team.

But I suppose it's all about perspective.

And 5 scoreless in the last 6 would mean we would only score in 6 games all season.

Baszab

When Brentford attacked they have 3 fast strong forwards bearing down on our goal

Our attacks consist of hopeful balls to Muniz who can't hold it up, and god forbid, when he does hold it, there is no-one within 30 yards of him

I honestly don't know where our "attacking" players were today in the middle of the field - however, Lukic  was great ( with a nonsense yellow card after 6 minutes) and TC who fizzled out

Having gone today, I thought we did quite well to hold out and generally nullified Brentford with Andersen winning headers and covering well - shame he's too slow now for a PL centre back and their hoofs over the top were quite dangerous throughout
