I was just about to post very similar after seeing the article about corners on skysports.

So, I feel the probkem has come from the fact refs are not giving a foul for any touch of the goalkeeper.

Something that has only been implemented around 2 or 3 years ago. Before then we had the 'keeper protection' and this worked very well for many many years. Sometimes you'd get a little groan that the keeper wasn't fouled by some bias fan who obviously wanted the goal awarded but the consistency meant it was hard to complain or find a similar situation were a different decision was made.

The new ruling of judging the keeper contact and deciding if it warrants a foul or not leaves everything up in the air. Now fans can very easily find a similar situation that went the other way and everything is subjective.

I second yourself and would push for the old days back. Bring back the keeper protection and any touch on the goalie is a foul.

P.s. I actually didnt think West ham was a foul. The keeper jumped into his arm and the West ham player would of had to break his arm and bend it unnaturally to get it away from the keepers chest. I also feel that Raya would not have claimed the ball either way. He tried to jump over too many players.
But a different WH player was pulling Rayan down by his shirt.
Raya never left the ground, so not sure how he was seen to be jumping into his arm.
Story of my life
"I was looking back to see if she was looking back to see if i was looking back at her"
Sadly she wasn't

You can jump forward, which he is trying to do, hes trying to jump into, and over a plethora of players.
