I would look at whats happening in the oceans which purify the Earth's atmosphere. Massive fishing especially from Japan and the Orient has depleted fish stock and led to jellyfish blooms which create an imbalance in the oceans and possibly increase the lack of taking pollution out of the air.

Plus deforestation in the Amazon which are the planets lungs

We are moving house tomorrow, could hardly have picked more challenging weather conditions!

Quote from: iansthailand on June 25, 2026, 07:53:24 AMI have a plastic/perspex covering at the front of the house which obviously magnifies the temp. but the other day it reached 62C which is as far as my thermometer goes. Currently they are quoting 35C.Pretty standard temp here in Sangkha (pronounced Sankat).
I am finding this heat unbearable, yet when in Thailand I don't have much of a problem, but I guess sitting by/in a pool with a beer, or in an aircon room helps.

Osmington Mills, had many brilliant camping trips there back in the day

It's 36C in mid-Devon (96.8F) so I've given up on the gardening. Going down to Exmouth this evening, it's only 25C there. Such a difference in a few miles.

Sitting at 28 now in Eastbourne... a stiffer breeze this afternoon.

Need a massive thunderstorm to clear this humidity...

I really don't like it - I'm fair skinned and have never been able to cope with it. Insects look on me as mobile street food and being bald a hat is a must. I was the kid who used to have to wear a t shirt in the local lido and have never recovered  from it . I envy people who can cope and enjoy the sun but I have to retreat to a darkened room and at least have the cricket to watch . Currently 37 degrees outside
