As I feared, absolute garbage tactics. I can't remember Anderson or Bassey putting a foot wrong today and yet we gift them 3 goals. All the opposition has to do is switch play from one side to the other and we're in trouble. At 2-2 we had 80% possession yet we are slowing the game down, yet when we go behind we suddenly find some urgency.

Palace were missing two players ...but aren't Fulham historically poor against Palace at home?

Positives were seeing S.Charles starting and Palacios scoring (from the Garcia strike attempt), and Josh King was once again the best player on the pitch.

A right side of Bobb/Castagne/Anderson is not a strong right side.   I wouldn't start any of them next week.

Again I'm not saying GG was poor, I thought he did well this is twice AA has left him on for too long in my opinion.

A player does well and we have someone who could come on and also do well are not mutualy exclusive which is what BTW issue seemed to be with what I said.

I don't think we have bad defenders. It's the style of play...Arbeloa wants our defense to play a high, attacking line which sounds great in theory, but it really puts our defenders on the back foot when a ball is misplaced or a counter attack ensues. Two of the goals today were from our defense chasing back causing us to look in shambles trying to race back and defend.

It doesn't look like Arbeloa will move away from this style of defending. Maybe a back three might help, but I don't know.

It really is a tale of two halves (attacking half, defensive half). We looked quite good going forward and had many chances to put this match to bed. It could have been 3 or 4-1 in the first half if our chances went in.

Ex Chelsea got the winner. Issue today was physicality nobody willing to put any challenges on the advancing palace players.

The front 4 looked very good and mobile. I think people have exaggerated Charles' performances to date but he had a good game today. Bobb improved today and took a shot as well so hopefully he'll continue on an upwards trend. If the new centre back and Larssen turn out to be good buys then we have the makings of a good team once Andersen and Berge are pensioned off. We'll just have to live with Leno.
