TC is pure class - what legend for Fulham, as good as any.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

What a player.

Wish we could keep him playing forever

the nutflush

Absolute Rolls Royce.

WindyCity

Yep, class cameo.  Controlled things, settled the lads down and created a few chances.  Good on him.

Terrible decision to take that shot late. Sess probably doesn't get the red if he passed it to Iwobi (I think that's who was available for the pass to take it into the corner and run off a ton of time).

Bal_13

Think it says it all about TC as a player that a new coach comes in and as soon as TC is fit, he wants to bring him on.

That's 6 managers (with a range of tactics and styles) he's had now at Fulham where he has clearly been trusted.

A quality player and long may he be able to do a job for us.

I can really see him continuing his super sub role under Arbeloa, given AA's focus on possession - TC has been our go-to man for calm and possession play for years.

Charles rightly has the starting shirt but TC is a great option. Hope he breaks the 400 appearance mark this season.

Ruislip White

Excellent in position.   Bought a real calmness to the game.

Herbie

Would love to see his stats for the cameo.  He was only on for 10–15 mins, but it felt like he was on the ball for most of that time.  Added another layer of calmness and control

Pure class

Still one of our best players at his ripe old age

Such a shame poor old Bongo can't see it

Cairney isn't much of a ball-winner but his calmness under pressure and distribution more than make up for this.  Johnny Haynes wasn't much of a ball-winner either.

Neither was Messi...  ::scarf::

Pity he wasn't available for the Ipswich game towards the end.Probably a different outcome

Too early to talk about his effect on this team, but as the team gels and finds its feet tc will be too slow

Oh Blingo let's worry about that when it happens, just join in and give credit for what he does now.

I think TC took ESR's spot. I don't expect to see him in that deep a role under AA.

It would be a welcome shift in how he's used - and we know how amazing he is when it comes to creative play and he's got a helluva shot on him.

But he's never going to press from CAM as King especially, but even ESR would

Woolly Mammoth

I hope TC continues his comeback and get plenty of game time.
He is unique and has vision and foresight and can make the ball talk.
I feel he can play his part as he is a playmaker which is something we often lack.

No reason he can't play for longer he has never relied on pace like Modric which is why he can still play top level at nearly 40 years old. I personally couldn't understand why some fans didn't want to extend his contract when he is still useful in certain situations.
