I love films and will watch any old rubbish but I have to admit I just don't get it(W&I).That film does not work for me on oh so many levels.

Oh he was in his mid 20's, old enough to know better. He said it as she walked away from the table, but the way she turned round, with a shocked look on her face, told us that she had heard it!
I have a feeling the quote comes from a very funny film in which, at one stage, a black actor playing a leading part pretends to be a blind man, and causes chaos in a restaurant by sending crockery, tables, etc flying in all directions.
