Good to see Benny come home.

Always liked Benny and was surprised to hear that his work ethic and attitude were the main problems he didn't get a sniff at Derby. To his credit he got his act together and not only made the WC, but played quite well. Looking at those teams on the allocation list I would think Philly or New England would fall over themselves to get Benny, so Chivas should definitely pick him up and make a trade.
You can observe a lot by just watching.

I'm confused how someone can come from the Danish SECOND DIVISION, yet make over $400k and have TWO teams pass on him.

Chivas was claiming he would cost to much and they need to address other areas.

Word is Beasley, EJ, and Adu are next to MLS.  Teams may also be waiting for one of them, but I'd imagine their salaries are even more.

RidgeRider

Mo, is this as result of a concerted effort by MLS to get American stars back in the US or just because none these players really made it in Europe......Beasley being the possible exception.

I have no idea if it's a concerted effort by MLS.  If it is, I imagine US soccer is involved too.  They would all be players subject to the allocation order like Benny was.  I think it's most likely that coming to MLS is just the best move for these players at the moment.

BTW, rumor is Houston wants to trade for Benny.  That would be awesome.

Benny staying with New England.
