A great season
« on: May 19, 2011, 06:23:34 PM »
Whatever happens on Sunday, it has been a great second half of the season. A new manager and the shock of losing the old. The delay in appointing a new manager. Injury problems etc. Yet we have come through to finish well. Hopefully a top ten finish and who knows even better. The transfers coming in will hopefully continue to make this the best Fulham squad we have ever had.

Whatever the result of the qualification for the Europa, we shouldn't forget what a great season it has been. More exciting to watch away and actually winning for a change. A great season when at Christmas we were looking at disaster.

If Dembele and BZ and Duff and Davies and Dempsey can have time until the Prem seaosn starts, we can look forward to next year.

Congrats and thanks to Mark and team for an enjoyable season :yay:

First half was awful - but I think in cool calm hindsight that was always because of the loss of Zamora. The second half has been immense, I'm already looking forward to next season - with a bit of luck, we could qualify for Europe 'properly' again, and with our improving away performances, you never know, we might actually get a trip up North (...West London) for a cup final.

We are going to finish the season - at the very least -in 11th place. Wow.

for some reason this season is satisfying only because of the away wins and we probably will finish in top 10. We were run over in some games which leaves me feeling it was a decent season but not not great. The results however have been good. I had expected a 7th place with the players we have but the first half of the season was just not good.

Have very high hopes for next season though and I really hope we get European football as I thought the whole experience, even from far away, was pretty awesome.
