I don't believe he gets enough praise sometimes. he's been a great servent to the club and has shown a lot of loyalty.

I believe he has important role to play in the next month as the new manager will find him very useful. Ray knows the squad inside out and we will need him to assist whoever our new manager is in evaluating them in a short time.

Ray was a total outcast once Hughes moved his people in, he told a friend of mine who knows him well

One of the reasons I did not like Hughes was how he moved the one man who knew how the squad ticked.
Hence halfway through the season we change the style a bit back to what worked before.
I really hope Hughes's five assistants feck off as well by the way.

Superb thread to an unsung hero of our club. I've been saying as much for a while, and more so than any player I believe it's vital we keep hold of Lewington and appreciate his value to his club.
