It sounds infeasible that Jol would not have qualified as part of his pre-contract negotiations the ability to bring in his favoured support folk.

This happens all the time in the states and the guys are home cashing their paychecks they are not with the former team.
This makes no sense to me at all. Pack their bags and let Jol bring in his staff.
