One Eye on Ajax?
It`s already been inferred that Martin Jol may return to White Hart Lane to bring to Craven Cottage some of the players he worked with during his time there, but there`s also the chance he`ll snaffle the odd player from Ajax.

One player in the frame is the Ajax forward Mounir El Hamdaoui

A Moroccan international of whom we know very little doubt, but a player some news sources are implying could well be moving to London with Jol.

Is he any good?

South African to Depart!
After spending a loan spell at Selhurst Park last season, it`s being reported that our South African midfielder, Kagisho Dikgacoi, could be returning to the Championship side.

Depending upon which tabloid you read, it appears that a deal is being set up but whilst one tabloid offers it`ll be a season long loan another is going down the route that it`ll be a sale.

But what does look certain is that the 26 year old South African doesn`t feature in the plans of Martin Jol!

Nolan Wanted!
Martin Jol, according to the tabloid press, has already identified one possible transfer target.

The newly appointed Dutchman has his sights set on bring the Newcastle midfielder, Levin Nolan, to Craven Cottage.

Nolan has recently been reported as having turned down an extension to the two years he has left on his contract whilst Newcastle have recently, if the press are correct, turned down a bid from West Ham for the player.

Nolan scored 12 goals last season and was Newcastle`s top scorer, but one stumbling block could be the reported £6 million fee Newcastle are looking for.

This one has got prospects though!

Warnock eyes £3m striker raid

Premier League new boys QPR are reportedly poised to offer £3million for Fulham striker Andrew Johnson this summer.

R's boss Neil Warnock has already seen newly-promoted rivals Norwich and Swansea pip him in the transfer market for the likes of strike duo Steve Morison and Danny Graham respectively this week.

However, it is thought he is looking to try and entice former England international, Johnson, away from Craven Cottage to spear-head QPR's strike force on their return to the top flight.

Johnson endured a difficult campaign under former Whites boss Mark Hughes last term as injury problems meant he missed the start of the campaign, while Bobby Zamora, Mousa Dembele and later Eidur Gudjohnsen were all ahead of him in the pecking order.

It is not known if new boss Martin Jol rates Johnson highly enough to try and keep him at Fulham, while former boss Roy Hodgson is also interested in taking him to West Brom. But, if QPR come in for him, then Johnson is thought to prefer a move within London so he does not have to uproot his family again.

Foundation Tennis Project

On Saturday 28th May, Fulham FC Foundation, in partnership with Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club and the Tennis Foundation, launched a three-year Children In Need funded programme coaching tennis to young people with learning disabilities and hearing impairments. The new initiative is another excellent example of FFCF's main aim of building better lives through sport.

Every Saturday for 42 weeks of the year two sessions will run at the impressive Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club. The first for children and young people with learning disabilities and the second focusing on deaf young people. Both are delivered by qualified tennis coaches supplied by Fulham FC Foundation and Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club.

The main aim of the project is to contribute to the supply of weekend extra curriculum inclusive sports provision for young people with disabilities, whilst enhancing the range of sports on offer to them in a community club setting. They are based around building tennis skills from the basics, and focus on co-ordination, movement and balance.

Many of the children are accessing quality tennis coaching for the first time and have enjoyed learning about the rules of the game as-well as the technique of the different strokes and shots.

Participants are also made to feel very much part of the tennis club, giving them a fantastic opportunity for social interaction and providing them with the chance to compete in internal and external competitions and take part in various other social activities.

This is essential in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project and so that everyone involved gets as much out of the initiative as possible.

For additional information on our Inclusive Tennis programme and any of our disability projects that help to build better lives through sport please contact our Disability Development Coach Matthew Maguire on 0870 442 5432 or [email protected]

Aspire 2 Move Girls Get Inspired

Seven girls taking part in Fulham Football Club Foundation's Aspire 2 Move project were invited by Middlesex FA to join the England Women's team in a football coaching session run as part of the UEFA Champions League Festival in Hyde Park, London.

The girls, who had been specially selected for their positive attitudes whilst on the Aspire 2 Move programme, as well as their hard work in encouraging more girls in their community to become active, had the chance to witness some of the top names from the Women's game in action.

They took part in a session with the English coaching team and UEFA Ambassador, Lucas Radabe. This was followed by some feedback and a team photo with Faye White, the England Women's Captain along with the chance to meet Hope Powell in the lead up to the Women's Champions League Final at Craven Cottage.

Deal For Fulham Midfielder Back On?
With the appointment of Martin Jol at Craven Cottage it looks like Kagisho Dikgacoi could be making another move to Selhurst.

Palace have already made it known that they'd certainly welcome KG back if a deal could be arranged, and for his part, KG never seemed against that although he did want to have another crack at breaking into the Fulham squad.

The two stories doing the rounds at the moment say that Jol doesn't rate the player and is happy for him to leave, but short of that the reports are contradictory.

In some circles a deal is close whereby he'll join us on a permanent basis, in other circles a deal is close whereby we'll have him back for a season long loan.

Obviously a permanent deal would suit us more, but if we could get him back for the season, I don't see why Dougie would turn his nose up at that.

I'm not sure how long the 26 year old has left on his contract at Fulham, so that could play a part as Fulham may prefer the cash instead of letting him run into the final 12 months or alternatively move on a free later in the day.
