Can anyone help. I am taking my 10year old grandson to next thursday's game. I propose travelling on the tram from Mitcham Junction to Wimbledon. Then the underground to Putney Bridge. Question is, will I need to buy him a ticket? Oh by the way, I have a freedom Pass.

Kaz is taking Kodi my ten year old thursday, she has never paid for her before, but not 100% sure if that's legal. Bump it up when the Daddy is online, he'll know for definate.

'legally' kids under 8 are free on the tube. Just make sure they stay close when you go through the barriers

TheDaddy

11 and under accompanied by and adult are free on the buses, tram and underground .

Not unless you use the main line trains they have different rules over 5 and they pay i believe. Most tube station have a wag which is automatic gives you more time to walk through with kids we call it the wide arse gate .

The wide arse gate? I wonder how these people get through the security machine at the airport? You know the type, the ones that need 2 seats.

There was a guy sat in front of me at the Runavik game - I think where you live Finny he'd be called plus size, but round here he had a three seat arse. He was also so tall I had to talk a steward into letting me move to the Putney end, just so as I could see!
"Do not affix anything to this wall" - sign that was affixed to wall above turnstiles at Hammy end before someone with a clipboard replaced it with a large Fire Exit sign.

I seem to remember the ones at Loftarse Road were even narrower!
