It's on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, but not live. Fox Soccer Channel is carrying the match on Saturday at 1330 Central. I figure to catch that later Saturday evening, but to listen to GJ "live from London" around 0900. I'm even going to try the FofF chatroom and see if I can beat my personal best of being bounced out 6 times in 90 minutes!

Let's get the season started off RIGHT!

Sounds like a plan Mr Hatter

Although now I am getting worried if the match will go on at all.

As am I.  The weekend looks bleak for football.

Jarv is spreading rumors and fables that ESPN2 will now pick up the Fulham match live as Everton/Spurs is off and that was the match to be shown live on Saturday.

Last season I had pretty good success w/ foxsoccer.tv showing FFC matches, and the price was right ($8/mo or something like that). Now they've increased their fee schedule, and it doesn't seem like they'll be showing many matches this season due to all of the rescheduling.

So what are the (recommended) alternatives? I hate relying on the free streams as the quality and reliability is suspect at best. I know some of the online sportsbook sites show matches, as well as onlinefooty.co.uk or something to that affect.

edit: I don't get cable television either, just internet. The thought of giving Time Warner a single cent more than I currently do gives me the shakes.
"Zamora!! What About that? We have seen some brilliant football from Shakhtar Donetsk tonight, but nothing.. nothing quite as good as that!"

Fox Soccer Channel and Soccer Channel Plus have shuffled their Saturday schedules to reflect the movement of the Villa match to ESPN2. ESPN SOCCERNET confirms that our match is now THEIR match.

There's going to be THIRTY MINUTES of pregame followed by Fulham v. Aston Villa at 0900 central.

Just double-checked a few minutes ago.
ESPN2 TV listing is showing the Fulham match at 9:30 EST (6:30 here on the Left Coast).

Sort of OT - My cable system just added Fox Soccer HD last Friday (Christmas came early...  098.gif 098.gif 098.gif)
