I am leaving on holiday for the wonderful destination of Cancun Mexico.
I am wondering if anyone here has been there before and has any advice on where to go club/pub wise especially to watch the game when i get in on Saturday.

Sorry James. No experience there. I have made a few trips to Cabo before it became THE place to go and spent some time just south Puerta Vallarta but have missed Cancun. Try the FUSA site, some of those guys and gals might have been.

TV in Mexico is at about the level it was in the US in about 1970. Cancun is great. Hot as a mother but the beer is cold. I'd suggest Pacifico or Sol. There is all sorts of soccer on their TV but it us almost all theirs. Ask some of the waiters or hotel staff. They are always friendly & helpfull. I haven't been there since the last storm & I understand they have rebuilt a lot. . Don't mention US dominance of Mexico if you value your teeth.
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

If you wake up in the morning and nothing hurts, you are most likely dead

No but my son has. He says it is typical holiday/beach resort but if you want to see anything relating to thet real Mexico go into the town. He got some great footy shorts and socks for a fraction of the price in USa. The town itself? A bit crap, some poverty.

Mate, youre going to have no time for that nonsense. Youre barely going to leave your all inclusive hotel with all the free drinks and bare chested girls in wet teeshirt contests to remember about the game. Just dont get arrested down there like I did..... lol ::)
The Dude abides.

Wicked! Dr Kildare and Quincy it is then!
